Abstract
Latar belakang: Diabetes merupakan penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kadar gula darah yang dihasilkan dari cacat insulin, aksi insulin atau keduanya. Salah satu komplikasi diabetes dapat luka yang susah sembuh. Proses penyembuhan luka baik dalam proses inflamasi, proliferasi, atau pun remodeling luka terhambat. Ekstrak daun Ficus religiosa meningkatkan proses penyembuhan luka pada penderita diabetes karena mengandung senyawa yang memiliki efek antioksidan, antiradang, dan antimikroba. Metode penelitian:. Penelitian ini adalah eksperimen murni (true experimental design) secara in vivo dengan Randomized Post-test only controlled group design pada Tikus wistar (Rattus novergicus) sebagai hewan coba. Perlakuan pada penelitian ini terbagi menjadi 5 kelompok yaitu kontrol negatif (kelompok tanpa perlakuan), kontrol positif (pemberian terapi povidone iodine 5%), kelompok perlakuan 1 (pemberian 5% salep), kelompok perlakuan 2 (pemberian 10% salep), dan kelompok perlakuan 3 (pemberian 15%). Tikus diinduksi diabetes dengan menggunakan Streptozotocin 45 mg/KgBB intraperitonial. Semua kelompok perlakuan diinduksi luka eksisi 3 cm2. Pengamatan ephitelisasi dan fibroblast dilakukan dengan menggunakan mikroskop cahaya pada preparat berupa jaringan luka masing-masing perlakuan yang telah diawetkan dan dicat dengan Hematoxylin-eosin. Hasil: Hasil epithelisasi salep ekstrak metanol daun Ficus religiosa pada Tikus wistar (Rattus norvegicus) menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan pada kelompok perlakuan 1 yaitu dengan terapi salep 5% dibandingkan kelompok kontrol negatif, kontrol positif, kelompok perlakuan 2 dan 3. Kesimpulan: Hal ini menunjukan bahwa salep ekstrak metanol daun Ficus religiosa mempunyai efek dalam proses perombakan luka pada Diabetes.
English Abstract
Introduction: Diabetes is a metabolic disease characterized by increased blood sugar resulting from insulin defects, insulin action or both. One of the complications of diabetes can be wounds that are difficult to heal. The process of wound healing both in the process of inflammation, proliferation, or even wound remodeling is inhibited. Ficus religiosa leaf extract enhances the wound healing process in diabetics because it contains compounds that have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effects. Method: This research is a pure experimental (true experimental design) in vivo with Randomized Post-test only controlled group design in Wistar rats (Rattus novergicus) as experimental animals. The treatment in this study was divided into 5 groups, namely negative control (untreated group), positive control (giving 5% povidone iodine therapy), treatment group 1 (giving 5% ointment), treatment group 2 (giving 10% ointment), and group treatment 3 (administration of 15%). Mice were induced by diabetes using intraperitonial Streptozotocin 45 mg / kg. All treatment groups induced an excision wound of 3 cm2. Observation of ephithelialization and fibroblasts was carried out using a light microscope on the preparations in the form of wound tissue of each treatment that had been preserved and painted with Hematoxylin-eosin. Result: The results of epithelization ointment of methanol extract of Ficus religiosa leaves in Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus) showed significant results in treatment group 1, namely with 5% ointment therapy compared to the negative control group, positive control group, treatment group 2 and 3. Conclusion: This shows that the methanol extract ointment of Ficus religiosa leaves has an effect in the process of wound remodelling in Diabetes.
