Abstract
Suatu pembelajaran menjadi efektif dan efisien apabila terjadi interaksi aktif antara siswa dan guru selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Namun, berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara terdapat permasalahan pada saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas X Jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan SMK Negeri 3 Malang yaitu kurangnya interaksi multi arah dikarenakan keterbatasan frekuensi waktu guru untuk mengajar secara langsung di dalam kelas dan siswa pasif dalam bertanya. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang telah teridentifikasi tersebut, penelitian eksperimen dengan membandingkan antara model pembelajaran konvensional dan model pembelajaran blended learning dengan bantuan Edmodo bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas interaksi pembelajaran multi arah antara guru dengan siswa di kelas X Jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan SMK Negeri 3 Malang. Jenis penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah weak experimental dengan menggunakan static-group pretest-posttest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X Jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan SMK Negeri 3 Malang Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 yang sedang mengikuti mata pelajaran Komputer dan Jaringan Dasar dengan jumlah keseluruhan 71 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dikarenakan semua anggota populasi dijadikan sampel dengan terdiri dari 35 siswa kelas X TKJ 1 dan 36 siswa kelas X TKJ 2. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini, penulis memperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) tidak ada perbedaan antara kegiatan pre-observation dan post-observation dari kelas konvensional X TKJ 1; (2) ada perbedaan antara kegiatan pre-observation dan post-observation dari kelas blended learning X TKJ 2; (3) ada perbedaan antara kegiatan pre-observation dari kelas konvensional X TKJ 1 dan kelas blended learning X TKJ 2; serta (4) ada perbedaan antara kegiatan post-observation dari kelas konvensional X TKJ 1 dan kelas blended learning X TKJ 2.
English Abstract
Learning becomes effective and efficient when there is active interaction between students and teachers during the learning activities take place. However, based on the results of observations and interviews there are problems when implementing learning in class X of the Department of Computer and Networking Engineering Vocational High School 3 of Malang that is the lack of multi-direction interaction due to the limited frequency of the teacher's time to teach directly in the classroom and passive students ask questions. Based on the identified problems, the experimental research by comparing conventional learning models and blended learning models with Edmodo aims to improve the quality of multi-direction learning interactions between teachers and students in class X of the Department of Computer and Networking Engineering Vocational High School 3 of Malang. The type of experimental research used in this research is weak experimental using static-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all grade X students of the Department of Computer and Networking Engineering Vocational High School 3 of Malang the 2018/2019 academic year who were attending Computer and Basic Networking Subjects with a total of 71 students. The sampling technique in this study was to use a saturated sampling technique because all members of the population were sampled consisting of 35 students of class X TKJ 1 and 36 students of class X TKJ 2. In this research, the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Based on testing the hypothesis of this research, the authors obtained the following results: (1) there was no difference between the pre-observation and post-observation activities of the class conventional X TKJ 1; (2) there is a difference between the pre-observation and post-observation activities of the class blended learning X TKJ 2; (3) there is a difference between the pre-observation activities of the class conventional X TKJ 1 and the class blended learning X TKJ 2; and (4) there is a difference between the post-observation activities of the class conventional X TKJ 1 and the class blended learning X TKJ 2.
