Abstract
Resin komposit merupakan bahan restorasi dalam bidang kedokteran gigi yang berguna untuk mengembalikan struktur gigi yang hilang. Salah satu jenis resin komposit yang berkembang saat ini adalah resin komposit nanofiller, yang memiliki sifat fisik yang lebih baik dan sifat mekanis berupa kekuatan tekan yang kuat. Kerapkali para pengguna resin komposit nanofiller juga merupakan para pengguna obat kumur, baik obat kumur beralkohol maupun non alkohol. Obat kumur merupakan bahan yang sering digunakan untuk pemeliharaan kebersihan rongga mulut sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kekuatan tekan resin komposit nanofiller setelah direndam dalam obat kumur beralkohol dan non alkohol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah post test only group design. Sampel yang digunakan berbentuk silindris, diameter 4 mm dan tinggi 6 mm, dibuat 30 sampel dan dibagi dalam 3 kelompok perendaman selama 12 jam, yaitu kelompok perendaman I sebagai kelompok kontrol perendaman dalam larutan akuades, kelompok II perendaman dalam larutan obat kumur beralkohol (kandungan alkohol 21,6%), dan kelompok III perendaman dalam larutan obat kumur non alkohol (kandungan alkohol 0%). Kekuatan tekan seluruh sampel di ukur dengan menggunakan universal testing machine dan hasil uji One-Way Anova menunjukkan nilai signifikansi <0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan kekuatan tekan resin komposit nanofiller setelah dilakukan perendaman pada obat kumur beralkohol dan obat kumur non alkohol, dengan nilai terendah dimiliki oleh kelompok II yaitu perendaman dalam obat kumur beralkohol.
English Abstract
Composite resin is a dentistry restoration material, which is useful for restoring the lost structure of tooth. One type of composite resin that is developing at this time is nanofiller composite resin, that has better physical properties and mechanical properties such as strong compressive strength. Oftentimes the users of nanofiller composite resin are also the users of mouthwash solution, both alcoholic mouthwash nor non-alcoholic mouthwash. Mouthwash is a material that frequently used for daily maintenance of the oral hygiene. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference compressive strength of nanofiller composite resins after immersion in alcoholic and non-alcoholic mouthwash. The research method used in this study is post-test only group design. The samples used in this study are cylindrical shaped, 4 mm diameter and 6 mm height. 30 samples were made and divided into 3 immersion groups for 12 hours, which the first immersion group as a control group in distilled water solution, second immersion group immersion treatment in alcoholic mouthwash (21.6% alcohol content), and the third immersion group immersion in non-alcoholic mouthwash (0% alcohol content). Compressive strength of the samples are measured using a universal testing machine and One-Way Anova test results showed a significance value <0.05. The conclusion of this study showed that there are differences in the compressive strength of nanofiller composite resins after immersion in alcoholic and non-alcoholic mouthwash, with the lowest value from compressive strength belong to the second group with immersion in alcoholic mouthwash.
