Abstract

Kejahatan dan kriminalitas yang terjadi di pulau Bali serta beredarnya travel advice yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah di beberapa negara yang menghimbau warga negaranya untuk tidak berwisata atau berpergian ke Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepercayaan wisatawan asing kepada pecalang terhadap rasa aman saat berwisata di Bali. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode analisis simple regression dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 116 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala general trust scale oleh Yamaguchi (2014) dan perceived safety scale oleh Syropoulos (2018). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peran kepercayaan wisatawan asing kepada pecalang terhadap rasa aman saat berwisata di Bali.

English Abstract

Crimes that occurred on the island of Bali and the circulation of travel advice from several countries are the basis of this research. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of foreign tourists' trust in pecalang in feeling safe when travelling in Bali. This research is a quantitative study using simple regression analysis method with a sample of 116 respondents with purposive sampling technique. Measuring instruments used are the general trust scale by Yamaguchi (2014) and the perceived safety scale by Syropoulos (2019). This study provides the results that there is a role for foreign tourists' trust in pecalang towards feeling safe when traveling in Bali.
