Abstract

Biotransformasi minyak jarak (Ricinus communis) menggunakan Lipase B Candida antarctica recombined Aspergillus oryzae dengan metode konvensional (T= ruang, 40ºC) dan microwave (T= 40ºC) telah dilakukan. Biotransformasi dengan metode konvensional dilakukan selama 24, 48 dan 72 jam, sedangkan metode microwave dilakukan selama 10, 20 dan 30 menit. Metode konvensional menggunakan magnetic hotplate stirrer, sedangkan metode microwave menggunakan microwave rumah tangga dengan modifikasi. Senyawa produk biotransformasi minyak jarak dianalisis menggunakan GC-MS. Produk yang dihasilkan dari metode konvensional (T= ruang) berturut-turut disajikan sebagai berikut. Ester : metil risinoleat, 53.64% (t= 24 jam); metil dodekanoat, 4.58% (t= 48 jam), 1.61% (t= 72 jam); metil-9-oktadekenoat, 1.59% (t= 48 jam); metil dekanoat, 2.84% (t= 48 jam). Lakton : γ-dodekalakton, 1.75% (t= 48 jam) dan asam-11-hidroksi-trans-8-dodekenoat lakton, 2.25% (t= 72 jam). Asam Karboksilat : asam-9-oktadekenoat (4.37%) dan asam dodekanoat (1.53%) masing-masing pada t= 48 jam. Sedangkan pada T= 40ºC, hanya dihasilkan metil risinoleat sebesar 81.33% (t= 72 jam). Produk yang dihasilkan dari metode microwave (T= 40ºC, t= 10, 20 dan 30 menit) adalah metil-9-oktadekenoat, yang mencapai maksimum seiring bertambahnya waktu dari 2.59% hingga 10.4% dan metil risinoleat yang mengalami penurunan dari 23.85% hingga 1.75%.

English Abstract

Biotransformation of castor oil (Ricinus communis) using lipase B Candida antarctica recombined Aspergillus oryzae with conventional methods (T = room, 40ºC) and microwave (T = 40ºC) have been done. Biotransformation with the conventional method was carried out at 24, 48 and 72 hours (h), while the microwave method was carried out at 10, 20 and 30 minutes. The conventional method uses a magnetic hotplate stirrer, while the microwave method uses a household microwave with modifications. The products were analyzed by GC-MS. The Products result by conventional methods (T= room) are presented as follows. Esters: methyl risinoleate, 53.64% (t= 24 h); methyl dodecanoate, 4.58% (t= 48 h), 1.61% (t= 72 h); methyl-9-octadecenoate, 1.59% (t= 48 h); methyl decanoate, 2.84% (t= 48 h). Lactone: γ-dodecalactone, 1.75% (t= 48 h) and lactone-11-hydroxy-trans-8-dodecenoic acid, 2.25% (t= 72 h). Carboxylic acid: 9-octadecenoic acid (4.37%) and dodecanoic acid (1.53%) each at t= 48 h. Whereas at T= 40ºC, only produced methyl risinoleate 81.33% (t= 72 h). The products result by the microwave method (T= 40ºC, t= 10, 20 and 30 minutes) are methyl-9-octadecenoate, which increase with the length of reaction time from 2.59% to 10.4% and methyl risinoleate which decreases from 23.85% to 1.75 %.
