Abstract
Provinsi Jawa Timur merupakan provinsi dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang baik dalam beberapa tahun terakhir ini. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari pertumbuhan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) dan kontribusi PDRB terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB). Pertumbuhan yang baik tersebut salah satunya juga didukung oleh pertumbuhan investasi yang terus meningkat nilainya dari tahun ke tahun. Realisasi investasi yang berasal dari dalam negeri Provinsi Jawa Timur selama tahun 2010-2017 lebih tinggi dibanding dengan realisasi investasi yang berasal dari luar negeri dalam hal nominal, tentunya hal tersebut berbanding terbalik dengan realisasi investasi pada tingkat nasional dan juga realiasasi pada tingkat provinsi seperti provinsi DKI Jakarta dan Jawa Barat yang masih didominasi investasi dari luar negeri pada tahun yang sama. Maka dari itu pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pertumbuhan penanaman modal dalam negeri di provinsi Jawa Timur. Lalu untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut akan digunakan 5 variabel yang diduga sebagai penentu pertumbuhan PMDN di Jawa Timur, ke 5 variabel tersebut adalah: 1. Produk Domestik Regional Bruto, 2. Inflasi; 3. Keterbukaan Perdagangan; 4. Infrasruktur; dan 5. Modal manusia. Alat analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Error Correction Model (ECM) dan Incremental Capital Output Ratio (ICOR) Hasil estimasi menunjukan bahwa Infrastruktur berpengaruh signifikan terhadap realisasi PMDN sedangkan. Sedangkan PDRB, Inflasi, Keterbukaan Perdagangan tidak menjadi penentu realisasi PMDN serta Modal Manusia pada jangka panjang menurunkan realisasi PMDN. Pada pengujian ICOR didapatkan hasil bahwa selama tahun 2003-2017 nilai ICOR menunjukan angka yang kecil sehingga menyimpulkan penggunaan investasi untuk kegiatan produksi efesien
English Abstract
East Java Province is a province with good economic growth in recent years. This can be seen from the growth of Gross Domestic Regional Product (GRDP) and GRDP contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This good growth is also supported by investment growth that continues to increase in value from year to year. The realization of investments originating from within the East Java Province during 2010-2017 was higher than the realization of Foreign Direct Investment in monetary terms. This is inversely proportional to the realization of investment at the national level and also realization at the provincial level such as of DKI Jakarta province and West Java province. Domination of foreign direct investment is found in both aforementioned provinces in the same year. Therefore this study aims to find out how the growth of domestic investment in East Java. In order to answer this question, five variables will be used as the determinants of DDI growth in East Java. Those variables are: 1. Gross Domestic Regional Product, 2. Inflation; 3. Trade Openness; 4. Infrastructure; and 5. Human Capital. The analytical tool used in this study is Error Correction Model (ECM) and Incremental Capital Output Ratio (ICOR). Estimation results show that infrastructure has a significant effect on the realization of domestic direct investment. Whereas GRDP, Inflation, Trade Openness are not determinants of the realization of domestic investment. Human Capital in the long run reduces the realization of domestic investment. Based on the ICOR test, the results show that during 2003-2017, the ICOR value showed a small number. Hence, it is concluded that the use of investment is efficient for production activities.
