Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan self esteem pada dewasa awal yang mengalami kekerasan dalam pacaran. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengambilan informan menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Informan dari penelitian ini adalah 4 perempuan yang mengalami kekerasan dalam pacaran. Teknik pengambilan data yang gunakan adalah wawancara. Jenis wawancara yang digunakan adalah wawancara semi terstruktur. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian ini, didapatkan bahwa kekerasan yang pernah diterima informan tidak selalu memengaruhi physical self-esteem. Kekerasan yang pernah diterima juga tidak memengaruhi social self-esteem informan tetapi kekerasan yang diterima memengaruhi performance self-esteem informan.
English Abstract
The aim of this study was to describe the self esteem of early adults who experiencing dating violence. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a phenomenology study approach. The informants taking technique in this study uses non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The number of informants in this study are 4 women who experiencing dating violence. The techniques of collecting data is interview. The type of interview is a semi-structured interview. The techniques of analyzing data in this study is the Miles and Huberman’ data analysis. The results of this study shows that violence that had been received by the informants do not always affect physical self-esteem of the victims. Violence that had been received by the informants also does not affect the informant's social self-esteem but affects the informant’s performance self-esteem.
