Sinta, Dwi (2019) Evaluasi Kualitas Air Berdasarkan Indikator Diversitas Fitoplankton di Saluran Irigasi Buatan Ditanami Hidromakrofita lokal sebagai Vegetasi Riparian. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
The aim of this research to determine the phytoplankton community structure in artificial irrigation channels Pucangsongo Village, Pakis, Malang, that have been planted with some local hydromachrophytes as long as 200 m and determine the quality of irrigation water along the irrigation channel based on the biotic index of phytoplankton as bioindicators. Ex Post Facto research was carried out by monitoring the physical and chemical parameters of water and plankton in five selected sampling locations in area after planting hydromacrophytes as long 5 m, 50 m, 100 m, 150 m and 200 m. Local hydromacrophytes planted are 16 species. The physics, chemical were measured i.e pH, alkalinity, temperature, DO, BOD, orthophosphate, and nitrate levels. While the biological parameters were phytoplankton communities based on abundance and biotic indices (E, Id, INP, H', TDI and %PTV). The research results showed that planting of hydromachrophytes as long as 200 m was able to maintain the value of temperature, pH, alkalinity, reduce orthophosphate and nitrate levels, there was a slight increase in DO and there is a tendency for BOD values to be smaller at downstream locations. Overall the value of water quality is categorized into class II based on Government Regulation No.82 of 2001. The quality of irrigation water in artificial irrigation channels based on phytoplankton as bioindicators can be categorized clean water based on the diversity index (H '), mesotrophic based on TDI, and very low organic pollution levels based on % PTV index
