Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui social support dari guru kepada murid berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah inklusi SDN Punten 01 Kota Batu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada model kelas integrasi umum di SDN Punten 01 Kota Batu. Subjek dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 3 orang guru di sekolah inklusi, yaitu subjek BPA yang merupakan wali kelas di kelas inklusi, subjek IBS yang merupakan guru kesiswaan sekaligus guru penjaskes di kelas inklusi dan subjek RN yang merupakan guru Bahasa Inggris di kelas inklusi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data model interaktif menurut Miles & Huberman. Adapun dimensi social support yaitu informational support, emotional support, instrumental support dan network support. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari ketiga subjek, seluruhnya mampu memberikan social support sesuai dengan empat dimensi social support yang dijelaskan oleh Sarafino dan Smith yaitu, informational support, emotional support, instrumental support dan network support kepada murid berkebutuhan khusus di kelas inkusi SDN Punten 01 kota Batu.

English Abstract

This research aims to discover the social support that is given from teachers to student with special needs in inclusive primary school SDN Punten 01 Batu City. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach on a general class integration in SDN Punten 01 Batu City. The subject in this research involves 3 teachers in inclusive school, that consists of subject BPA which is the homeroom teacher from the inclusive class, Subject IBS which is a counseling, and P.E teacher, and Subject RN which is the English teacher in the inclusive classroom. The data acquiring technique that is used in this research consists of field observation and interviews, and the data analysis technique used in this research is based on the interactive data analysis model from Miles & Huberman. Furthermore, the social support dimension consists of informational support, emotional support, instrumental support and network support. This research finds that all three subjects are able to provide social supports based on the four dimension of social support that is explained by Sarafino and Smith, which is informational support, emotional support, instrumental support and network support to special needs students in inclusive primary school SDN Punten 01 Batu City.
