Abstract
Taman Hutan Kota Patriot terletak di Kota Bekasi yang sejak tahun 2012 ditetapkan sebagai salah satu titik pantau Adipura di Kota Bekasi. Berdasarkan dasar pembentukannya lokasi merupakan ruang publik dalam bentuk hutan kota yang difungsikan sebagai resapan air dan plasma nuftah, lokasi wisata dan pusat aktivitas masyarakat, sementara itu berdasarkan pengamatan di lapangan area tersebut cukup mewadahi banyak aktivitas layaknya sebuah taman seperti yang tertera pada penamaanya juga lokasi dilengkapi dengan segala bentuk fasilitas yang cukup beragam diantaranya taman bermain hingga tempat ibadah sehingga fungsi dari area menjadi ambigu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana pola pemanfaatan yang terjadi di dalam area Taman Hutan Kota Patriot Bina Bangsa untuk dapat melihat bagaimana pengembangan yang baik dan meluruskan fungsi dari lokus penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pendekatan behavioral mapping dengan teknik place-centered mapping guna melihat pola aktivitas yang menunjukan pola pemanfaatan pada ruang. Pemgamatan dilakukan pada pagi dan sore hari di hari kerja dan hari libur. Hasil penelitian ini pemanfaatan lokus terhadap Taman Hutan Kota Patriot ini bahwa pemanfaatan lokus sebagai hutan kota sudah tidak lagi relevan karena lebih cocok jika dimanfaatkan sebagai taman kota dengan penyesuaian dan penambahan beberapa atribut ruang guna mewadahi aktivitas berulang yang belum terwadahi.
English Abstract
Taman Hutan Kota Patriot located in Bekasi City which since 2012 has been designated as one of the monitoring points of Adipura in City of Bekasi. Based on the establishment of the location, it is a public space as an urban forest that functions as a water and germ plasm recharge area, a tourism area and a center of activity of the community, meanwhile based on observation that this area is sufficient to accommodate a lot of activities just like a park as stated in the name of this area where the location is also equipped with all forms of facilities are quite diverse, including playgrounds to a mosque so that the function of the area becomes ambiguous. The purpose of this study is to see how the utilization patterns that occur within the area of Taman Hutan Kota Patriot Bina Bangsa to be able to see how a better development for the future and correct the function of the research locus. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with behavioral mapping approach with place-centered mapping techniques to understand the activity pattern that will showed the utilization pattern. This observation is done in the morning and evening in weekdays and weekends. The results of this study showed that the utilization of Taman Hutan Kota Patriot as an urban forest is no longer relevant because it is more suitable if used as a city park by adjusting and adding some space attributes to accommodate repeatedly activities that are not encompassed.
