English Abstract
This research was conducted to know the implementation of Reclamation And Post-Mining Policy at Samarinda City. The basic problem of this research is the implementation of reclamation and post mining policy that have not been implemented optimally. Besides the large number of mining activities that occur in Samarinda, the supervisory is not effectively run. This research uses qualitative research. The research location is in the East Kalimantan Province Mining and Energy Agency. In this study researchers used a descriptive type of research. By using this type of descriptive research the researcher will more easily describe and describe phenomena related to the problem under study. The research results indicate that the reclamation and post-mining activities, in general, have been well implemented. Even though it has several obstacles, namely the issues of land ownership and the limited number of the supervisor and the mining expert of each companies which are too overwhelmed to handle the number of holder of mining license company that is too much to handle.
