Abstract
Latar belakang: Angka turnover pegawai RS X masih dibawah 10% sedangkan penelitian lain menyatakan angka turnover sebesar 10-12% di perusahaan jasa. Pengunduran diri pegawai RS X menyebabkan masalah finansial dan non finansial bagi RS. Penelitian bertujuan mengungkap fenomena mental (nilai, perasaan, emosi) perawat yang bertahan bekerja di rumah sakit. Metode: Penelitian dilakukan di RS X dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi hermeneutic (interpretative). Sumber data utama didapatkan dari wawancara mendalam terhadap informan penelitian yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil & Diskusi: Hasil wawancara dianalisis dengan menggunakan Intrepretative Phenomenology Analysis (IPA) dan didapatkan sebanyak 13 tema penelitian. Pemaknaan seluruh tema didapatkan dua tema inti yaitu merasa ingin mengikatkan diri dan merasa kurang nyaman dengan lingkungan kerjanya. Relevansi tema-tema penelitian terhadap makna pengalaman perawat bertahan kerja dapat ditinjau dari sudut pandang manusia dalam lived body, lived space, lived time dan lived relationship. Kesimpulan: Pegawai yang merasa aman dan nyaman dalam bekerja akan mampu memberikan kemampuan terbaiknya dalam penyelesaian tugas. Perasaan aman dan nyaman adalah salah satu faktor pegawai melakukan actively engage terhadap organisasinya.
English Abstract
Background: The employee turnover rate of RS X is still below 10% while other research states turnover rate is 10-12% in service companies. The resignation of RS X employees caused financial and non-financial problems for the hospital. The study aims to reveal the mental phenomena (values, feelings, emotions) of nurses who survive working in the hospital. Method: The research was conducted in RS X using qualitative research method of hermeneutic phenomenology (interpretative). The main data source was obtained from in-depth interviews of selected research informants with purposive sampling method. Results & Discussion: The results of the interviews were analyzed using Intrepretative Phenomenology Analysis (IPA) and 13 themes were obtained. The meaning of the whole theme is got two core themes that feel like to bind themselves and feel less comfortable with their work environment. The relevance of the research themes to the meaning of nurses' experience of survival can be viewed from the human point of view in lived body, lived space, lived time and lived relationship. Conclusion: Employees who feel safe and comfortable in work will be able to provide the best ability in completing the task. Feelings of security and comfort is one factor of actively employee engage the organization.
