Abstract
Kota Batu merupakan salah satu kota wisata yang ada di jawa timur, terdapat 3 kecamatan di dalam Kota Batu, salah satunya adalah Kecamatan Batu dengan luas 4.545,81 Ha sebagai pusat pemerintahan dan pusat kegiatan wisata. Tercatat berjumlah ada 22 obyek wisata yang ada di Kecamatan Batu sendiri, pengembangan wisata dan kegiatannya memicu konversi lahan di Kecamatan Batu untuk mengalih fungsikan lahannya dari tak terbangun menjadi terbangun yang berfungsi sebagai akomodasi, fasilitas penunjang lainya ataupun kegiatan lainya, sehingga merubah karakteristik tutupan lahan yang ada di Kecamatan Batu. Pertumbuhan tutupan lahan dari tahun 2003 sampai dengan 2018 tiap tahun rata-rata mengalami kenaikan 23,33Ha/tahunnya atau lahan tak terbangun menyusut sebesar 349,95Ha/15 tahun terakhir begitu pula dengan jumlah penduduk yang ada di Kecamatan Batu mengalami kenaikan 1.210 jiwa/tahunnya selama 12 tahun terakhir. Mengingat wilayah Kecamatan Batu adalah perbukitan dengan tingkat kelerengan yang bermacam-macam, maka jika dibandingkan dengan luas wilayah yang sesuai dengan SNI hanya tersisa 1.036,86 Ha yang dapat di bangun sesuai SNI. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut maka penelitian Pengaruh Pengembangan Wisata terhadap Konversi Lahan di Kecamatan Batu diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu rujukan untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruhnya pengembangan wisata dan bagaimana tutupan lahan yang ada di Kecamatan Batu. Terdapat beberapa faktor aspek pengaruh dalam konversi lahan yang terjadi di Kecamatan Batu dalam penelitian tersebut terpilih 4 faktor setelah melalui uji validitas dalam analisis Partial Least Square dari setiap variabel aspek utama yaitu Pengaruh Pengembangan Wisata, Kondisi Fisik-sosial, Aksesbilitas dan Pendukung kawasan. Berdasrkan persamaan model struktural yang telah di analisa Pengaruh Pengembangan Wisata mempengaruhi konversi lahan sebesar 44,9%, sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainya yang tidak ada dalam pembahasan penelitian.
English Abstract
Batu City is one of the tourism cities in East Java. There are 3 sub-districts in Batu City; one of them is Batu District with the 4,545.8-ha area as the government and the tourism activities center. There are 22 tourism objects exist in Batu District- the tourism development and its activities turn thevacant land conversion in Batu Subdistrict into built-up land for useful accommodation, other supporting facilities, or other events thatchangetheland cover characterization in Batu District. The landcover change, continuing from 2003 to 2018, per year, the average changes increased- from 23.33- ha/year or the vacant land shrank by 349.95-ha over the last 15 years. Thus, the total population of Batu District increases to 1,210 people/year in the last 12 years.Considering the Batu District area is a hill with a variety of slope levels, according to SNI,Batu District has a surface area of only 1,036.86-ha available to build. Based on those conditions, this research ofthe Tourism Development Impact on Land Conversion in Kecamatan Batu(SubDistricts) is expected to be one of the references to find out more about how much the tourism development may influence land covers in Batu District. There are several factors found related to the land cover change occurred in Batu Subdistrict. In this study, after going through the validity test in Partial Least Square analysis of each main variable related to Tourism Development, Physical-Social Conditions, and Accessibility and Support of the region, there are 4 selected factors of land conversion. Based on the equation of the structural model analyzed, the Tourism Development affects the land conversion by 26.7%; the rest is by other variables which are not included from the research discussion
