Ugroseno, Wahyu (2019) Studi Rancangan Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah Tambak Intensif Udang Vannamei Kota Probolinggo. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
The waters of the north coast area (Pantura) of East Java, especially the coast of Probolinggo are areas that ecologically and economically important, and have high fishery potential. These ecologically waters support the life of Java sea biota. The location of intensive vannamei shrimp pond study is located in Mayangan District, Probolinggo City, East Java. In carrying out shrimp farming activities, the study ponds have not yet treated the wastewater from the production ponds. Waste water through central drainage, directly flowed into the body of water. After conducting laboratory tests on wastewater quality, several waste parameters were found to be incompatible with the waste water quality standard of shrimp pond production according to the Ministry of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs Number 28 of 2004. The contents of BOD5, PO43-, H2S, NH3 and TSS are above the allowed threshold . Based on the required criteria, the WWTP unit model is selected using the AnaerobicAerob biofilter method. The IPAL unit series consists of; Equalization tank, initial sedimentation tank, anaerobic biofilter tank, aerobic biofilter tank and final sedimentation tank. The equalization tank functions as a stabilizer for discharge and uniformity of wastewater content, the initial settling tank functions as a settler of solid impurities, the biofilter tank contains a buffer media for breeding bacterial decomposers both with the help of airborne (aerobic) or without (anaerobic). Each has efficiency in reducing pollutants contained in wastewater. The results of wastewater treatment showed BOD5, PO43-, H2S, NH3 and TSS content of 20.582 mg / l, 0.056 mg / l, 0.011 mg / l, 0.03 mg / l and 5.130 mg / l, respectively. The value of each parameter of the wastewater treatment results is considered to meet the quality standards of the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs No. 8 of 2004, so it is safe to be returned to the water bodies (coast)
