Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh sarana prasarana, pelatihan dan kepuasan keja terhadap kinerja penyuluh pertanian di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian Wilayah Malang Raya. Populasi penelitian ini adalah penyuluh pertanian yang berstatus Pegawai Negeri Sipil dengan masa kerja 1 tahun, bekerja di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian tingkat Kecamatan dan pernah mengikuti pelatihan yaitu sejumlah 145 orang. Seluruh populasi tersebut dijadikan sampel. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah smartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sarana prasarana, pelatihan, dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja penyuluh pertanian secara langsung. Demikian juga pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja bagi penyuluh pertanian secara langsung, sedangkan sarana prasarana tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja. Selanjutnya, kepuasan kerja mampu memediasi pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja penyuluh pertanian, tetapi tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh sarana prasarana terhadap kinerja penyuluh pertanian.

English Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the effects of infrastructure and facilities, training, and job satisfaction on the performance of agricultural extension agents. Using saturated sampling, 145 civil servant agricultural extension agents who have been actively working for at least one year at sub-district-level agricultural extension centers and had attended training were selected as the sample. The data analysis was performed using smartPLS 3.0. The result of the study shows that infrastructure and facilities, training, and job satisfaction significantly influence the performance of agricultural extension agents. Furthermore, training directly has a significant effect on the job satisfaction of agricultural extension agents, but infrastructure does not directly influence their job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction is able to mediate the effect of training on the performance of agricultural extension agents, but it is unable to mediate the influence of infrastructure and facilities on their performance.
