Abstract

Skripsi ini membahas kriptografi untuk pengiriman pesan citra digital menggunakan metode gabungan Elliptic Curves Cryptosystem (ECC) dan Hill Cipher (HC). Pada penggabungan ECC dengan HC untuk enkripsi dan dekripsi citra, metode ECC digunakan untuk membangkitkan matriks kunci yang bersifat self-invertible. Selanjutnya citra dienkripsi dan didekripsi menggunakan metode HC. Metode Elliptic Curves Cryptosystem Hill Cipher (ECCHC) diterapkan pada program MATLAB dengan menggunakan beberapa citra uji. Performa metode ECCHC diukur dengan menggunakan Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) dan entropi. Hasil eksperimen menunjukan bahwa nilai PSNR dari citra uji cenderung kecil dan nilai entropi mendekati nilai delapan, ini artinya citra enkripsi yang dihasilkan metode ECCHC tidak mirip dengan citra asli.

English Abstract

This thesis discusses cryptography to send digital image messages using the combined method of Elliptic Curves Cryptosystem (ECC) and Hill Cipher (HC). On the combination of ECC with HC for image encryption and decryption, ECC method is used to generate key matrix that is self-invertible. The next step, image is encrypted and decrypted using the HC method. Elliptic Curves Cryptosystem Hill Chiper (ECCHC) method is applied to the MATLAB program using several test images. The performance of the ECCHC method is measured by Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and entropy. The experiment results show that PSNR value from the test image tend to be small and the entropy values are close to eight, it means that the encryption images produced by the ECCHC method are not similar to the original image.
