Abstract

English Abstract

The stress conditions supported by high dietary intake of fat will cause changes in the levels of HDL (High Density Lipoprotein) and LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein). This research aims to know the influence of feeding a diet high in fat against the levels of HDL (High Density Lipoprotein) and LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) were given exposure to stress this immobilization using animals try to rat (Rattus norvegicus). This research uses mice divided into 4 treatment groups: the negative control group, group 1 rats by administering high-fat diet treatment of gastric sonde as much as 5 mL/tail/day with the giving of the 3 times a day, IE2 mL at 07.30, 1 mL at 12.30, and 2 mL at 16.30, Group 2 rats by administering treatment immobilization stress that is inserted into the rats tube 20 cm x 5 cm given time i.e. morning at 08.00-11.00 and daylight time 13.00-16.00, 3 groups of rats by administering treatment the combination of a high-fat diet and feed of immobilization stress. The levels of HDL (High Density Lipoprotein) and LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) measured with spectrophotometry method, data were analyzed by using ANOVA test followed a test of Tukey (p < 0.05).The result of stress immobilization studies has the influence that HDL levels decreased after the treatment of the immobilization of stress. High-fat diets are able to significantly increase LDL levels in the blood. Based on this study it can be concluded that the immobilization of stress and high-fat diets can affect HDL and LDL levels in blood.
