Abstract
Polusi udara yang bersumber dari aktivitas manusia merupakan sumber polusi yang banyak terjadi, yaitu aktivitas transportasi dari kendaraan bermotor. Emisi dari pembakaran yang terkandung dalam kendaraan bermotor menyebabkan berbagai masalah atau ancaman terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan mereka. Sistem pembuangan memiliki desain yang berbeda dalam mengurangi emisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pengaruh desain varian exhaust terhadap konsentrasi PM2.5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa panjang di ruang konstruksi knalpot mempengaruhi konsentrasi PM2.5 dengan dipengaruhi oleh faktor aliran gas, suhu, konstruksi knalpot, dan panjang knalpot.
English Abstract
Air pollution sourced from human activities is a source of pollution that occurs a lot, namely transportation activities from motorized vehicles. The Emissions from combustion contained in motorized vehicles cause various problems or threats to their health and environment. Exhaust system has the design different in reducing emissions. This study aims to get an influence of the exhaust variant design to the PM2.5 concentration. The results showes that the length in the exhaust construction space affectes the PM2.5 concentration by being influenced by gas flow factors, temperature, exhaust construction, and exhaust length.
