Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perceived social support pada mahasiswa dengan Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) di perguruan tinggi inklusi, dalam penelitian ini difokuskan di Universitas Brawijaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan fenomenologi dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara. Sumber data primer pada penelitian ini sejumlah empat mahasiswa dengan ADHD yang terdiri dari tiga orang laki-laki dan satu orang perempuan, sedangkan sumber data sekunder yang meliputi orang spesial atau orang yang dianggap penting dari setiap sumber data primer. Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tahap reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan atau verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini, secara keseluruhan subjek memiliki perceived social support yang bersumber dari keluarga dan teman, sedangkan pada sumber dukungan significant other hanya subjek AK yang memiliki perceived social support. Selain berdasarkan ketiga sumber tersebut, semua subjek juga merasa terbantu pada kegiatan perkuliahan mereka oleh dukungan yang berasal dari lembaga dalam hal ini adalah PSLD, pendamping dan dosen, dalam penelitian ini sebagai temuan baru mengenai sumber-sumber dukungan sosial.
English Abstract
This study aims to describe perceived social support among college students with Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in inclusive universities, this study focused on Universitas Brawijaya. This research conducted in qualitative research through a phenomenological approach and used interview to collect data. Primary respondent in this study are four college students consist of three men and a woman with ADHD, while secondary respondent cover special people or people who are considered as an important people by each primary respondent. The analysis technique used Miles and Huberman analysis technique comprises the stages of data reduction, data display and conclusions or verification. The results of this study are that overall subjects had perceived social support from their family and friends, whereas on significant others support, only AK had perceived social support. Besides based on the three sources of social support, all subjects also felt helped in their lecture activities by the support of the institutions in this case, PSLD, shadows (volunteer) and lecturers-as new as findings regarding the sources of social support
