Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana perbedaan Classical Test Theory dan Item Response Theory dalam menghasilkan estimasi person characteristics pada model respon politomus. Data pada penelitian ini akan menggunakan data dependen pada skala 16 Personality Factors (16PF) yang diambil dari data open source, yaitu Harvard Dataverse. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan dimensi Extraversion dan Independence dari 16PF yang terdiri dari 35 dan 31 item. Subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 392 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Graded Response Model (GRM), Pearson correlation, dan statistik deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa CTT dan IRT dapat memberikan hasil estimasi person characteristics yang tidak jauh berbeda.
English Abstract
This study aims to compare Classical Test Theory and Item Response Theory in estimating person characteristics on polytomous response. This study uses dependent data on 16 Personality Factors (16PF) scale, which Extraversion dimension (35 items) and Independence dimension (31 items) were used. The data used in this study was taken from open source data, Harvard Dataverse. The amount of subjects used in this study was 392 respondents. Analysis techniques used in this study are Graded Response Model (GRM), Pearson correlation, and descriptive statistics. The result of this study indicates that CTT and IRT can provide the estimation score of person characteristics without giving different result.
