Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh perbedaan classical test theory (CTT) dan item response theory (IRT) dalam menghasilkan estimasi person characteristic pada model respon dikotomus. Data yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah data yang bersumber dari open source Harvard Dataverse dari skala Multidimensional Personality Questionnaire (MPQ). Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan analisis terhadap subskala Social Potency dan subskala Achievement untuk menghasilkan estimasi person characteristic masing-masing oleh CTT dan IRT. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan korelasi product moment person, two-parameter logistic model, dan analisis deskriptif statistik berupa histogram dan diagram scatter. Hasil korelasi estimasi person characteristic dari CTT dan IRT menunjukkan perbedaan yang kecil, sehingga artinya kedua metode pengukuran tersebut merupakan metode pengukuran yang sebanding dalam mengestimasi person characteristic individu pada model respon dikotomus.
English Abstract
This study aimed to determine how far the difference in Classical Test Theory (CTT) and Item Response Theory (IRT) in generating person characteristic estimation in dichotomous response model. The data used in this study were from the open source Harvard Dataverse: Multidimensional Personality Questionnaire (MPQ). In this study, an analysis of the Social Potency subscale and Achievement subscale would be carried out to produce individual characteristics estimation by CTT and IRT. Data analysis was performed using product moment person correlation, two-parameter logistic models, and descriptive statistical analysis which were histograms and scatter plots. Correlation results of the person characteristics estimation of CTT and IRT showed small differences, which means that these measurement methods were comparable in estimating person characteristics of individuals in the dichotomous response model.
