Abstract

Obesitas merupakan suatu kondisi terjadinya penimbunan lemak yang berlebihan terhadap tinggi badan. Komplikasi metabolik yang erat hubungannya dengan kejadian obesitas yaitu meningkatnya kadar VLDL, trigliserida, LDL, serta penurunan kadar HDL. Obesitas yang disertai peningkatan kadar LDL dan kadar TG dapat disebabkan karena tingginya asupan lemak jenuh, kolesterol, serta karbohidrat yang berlebihan dalam jangka waktu lama. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh pemberian diet High Fat High Fructose modifikasi AIN-93M terhadap kadar TG dan kadar LDL pada tikus Sprague dawley jantan. 36 ekor tikus Sprague dawley jantan dibagi dua kelompok perlakuan yaitu P1 diberi diet HFHF modifikasi AIN-93M dan P2 diberi diet standar AIN-93M termodifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Rata-rata kadar TG pada kelompok P1 = 40,20 ± 12,42 dan P2=36,50 ± 11,19, dengan nilai p=0,402 (independent t-test p>0,05), sedangkan rata-rata kadar LDL pada kelompok P1=30,25 ± 8,29 dan P2=24,74 ± 8,07, dengan nilai p = 0,78 (independent t-test p>0,05). Kesimpulannya yaitu kandungan fruktosa pada diet HFHF modifikasi AIN-93M yang diberikan sebesar 30% dan lemak 51,64% tidak dapat menghasilkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada pengujian kadar TG dan LDL tikus

English Abstract

Obesity is a condition of excessive fat accumulation in height. Metabolic complications that are closely related to the incidence of obesity are increased levels of VLDL, triglycerides, LDL, and decreased of HDL levels (hyperglicemia). Obesity with an increase in LDL levels and TG levels can be caused by excessive intake of saturated fat, cholesterol, and carbohydrates for a long time. Therefore this study was conducted on the effect of dietary supplementation High Fat High Fructose modified AIN-93M on TG and LDL levels in male Sprague dawley rats. 36 male Sprague dawley rats were divided into two treatment groups, P1 (modified AIN-93M HFHF diet) and P2 (modified AIN-93M standard diet). The results of this study indicate that the average TG level in group P1 = 40.20 ± 12.42 and P2 = 36.50 ± 11.19, with a value of p = 0.402 (independent t-test p> 0.05), while the average LDL level in group P1 = 30.25 ± 8.29 and P2 = 24.74 ± 8.07, with p value = 0.78 (independent t-test p> 0.05). The conclusion is fructose content of the modified AIN-93M HFHF diet given by 30% and 51.64% fat did not show a significant difference in the testing of TG levels and did not show a significant difference in the rat LDL levels.
