Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasi yang bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara beban kerja dengan kepuasan kerja pegawai unit produksi instalasi gizi RST. Dr. Soepraoen Kota Malang. Responden penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai unit produksi sebanyak 22 orang. Instrument yang digunakan berupa form perhitungan Workload Indicator Staff Need (WISN) dan kuesioner kepuasan kerja Minnessota Satisfaction Questionaire (MSQ). Hasil analisis kebutuhan tenaga kerja shift pagi 9 orang, sore 3 orang, dan malam 3 orang, sedangkan jumlah tenaga saat ini shift pagi 11 orang, sore 3 orang, dan malam 3 orang. Sehingga beban kerja shift pagi rendah serta shift sore dan malam sesuai. Hasil analisis kepuasan kerja sebesar 81.8% pegawai memiliki tingkat kepuasan tinggi dan 18.2% tingkat kepuasan sedang, sehingga kepuasan kerja pegawai produksi cukup tinggi. Hasil analisis uji korelasi antara standar beban kerja dengan kepuasan kerja masing-masing pegawai produksi, didapatkan hasil terdapat hubungan antara beban kerja dengan kepuasan kerja (p=0.001) dengan kekuatan hubungan sangat kuat (r=0.661) dan positif. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi standar beban kerja maka semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja pegawai.

English Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive correlation design that aims to examine the relationship between workload and job satisfaction of production employees of the nutritional installation RST Dr. Soepraoen, Malang City. Respondents in this study were 22 production employees. The instrument used is the Workload Indicator Staff Need (WISN) form calculation and Minnessota Satidfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) job satisfaction questionnaire. The results of the analysis of the needs of the morning shift workforce were 9 people, 3 people in the afternoon, and 3 people in the evening, while the number of workers was 11 people in the morning shift, 3 people in the afternoon, and 3 people in the evening. So the workload of the morning shift is low and the afternoon and evening shifts are appropriate. The results of job satisfaction analysis amounted to 81.8% of employees have a high level of satisfaction and 18.2% have moderate level of satisfaction, so that job satisfaction of production employees is quite high. The results of the correlation test analysis between workload standards and job satisfaction of each production employee, it was found that there was a relationship between workload and job satisfaction (p = 0.001) with a very strong strength of the relationship (r = 0.661) and positive. From the results of this study it was concluded that the higher the standard workload, the higher employee job satisfaction.
