Abstract
Infeksi nosokomial merupakan infeksi yang didapat pasien dari rumah sakit pada saat pasien menjalani asuhan keperawatan. Salah satu faktor yang mampu mamperburuk dan menularkan infeksi nosokomial adalah cuci tangan perawat yang tidak adekuat. Salah satu pencegahan yang efektif untuk menurunkan infeksi nosokomial yaitu dengan meningkatkan kepatuhan cuci tangan perawat. Sehingga perlu adanya upaya peningkatan kepatuhan cuci tangan perawat, salah satu strategi yang dapat diterapkan adalah pemberian knowledge management. Tujuan: Menganalisis pengaruh pemberian knowledge management terhadap kepatuhan cuci tangan perawat ruang 26 HCU Rumah Sakit Saiful Anwar Malang. Desain penelitian adalah pre-eksperiment one group pretest-posttest dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 14 responden dengan cara teknik total sampling. Penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi pre-test dan post-test, masing-masing dilakukan observasi selama satu minggu dengan 4 kali observasi setiap perawat. Data dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian: hasil analisis pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan (p-value = 0,008, α < 0,05). Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh pemberian knowledge management terhadap kepatuhan cuci tangan perawat. Saran: diharapkan peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan penelitian yang sudah ada dan diharapkan dapat meminimalisir keterbatasan yang mungkin timbul sehingga hasil penelitian lebih bisa diterapkan.
English Abstract
Nosocomial infection is an infection that patients get from the hospital when patients undergo nursing care. One of the factors that can worsen and transmit nosocomial infections is inadequate hand washing of nurses. One effective prevention for reducing nosocomial infections is by increasing compliance with nurse hand washing. So that it is necessary to increase the compliance of nurse handwashing, one of the strategies that can be applied is the provision of knowledge management. Objective: To analyze the effect of knowledge management on the compliance of nurses' hand washing at room 26 of HCU in Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang The study design was a pre-experiment of one group pretest-posttest with a total sample of 14 respondents by means of total sampling technique. The study used a pre-test and post-test observation sheet, each observation was conducted for one week with 4 observations for each nurse. Data were analyzed by the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study: the results of the pre-test and post-test analysis showed that there were significant differences (p-value = 0.008, α <0.05). Conclusion: There is an effect of giving knowledge management to the compliance of nurse hand washing. Suggestion: It is expected that further researchers can develop existing research and are expected to minimize the limitations that may arise so that the results of the study are more applicable.
