Abstract
Mengevaluasi kemampuan literasi informasi peringatan bahaya merokok dilakukan untuk menjadi panduan pengambilan keputusan dalam mengembangkan upaya penanggulangan masalah perilaku merokok pada remaja. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi hubungan literasi informasi bahaya merokok dengan sikap dan perilaku merokok pada siswa SMKN 2 Malang. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan analisis cross sectional dengan purposive sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 127 siswa laki-laki SMKN 2 Malang. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan analisa korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian didapatkan literasi informasi bahaya merokok tinggi yaitu sebanyak 62%, sikap merokok siswa rendah yaitu sebanyak 58%, dan perilaku merokok siswa rendah yaitu sebanyak 51%. Hasil uji korelasi didapatkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara literasi informasi bahaya merokok dengan sikap merokok siswa laki-laki SMKN 2 Malang (p <0,001 , r= -0,688) . Hasil menunjukkan semakin tinggi kemampuan literasi informasi bahaya merokok semakin rendah sikap merokok siswa. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan yang signikan pada uji korelasi literasi informasi merokok dengan perilaku merokok siswa laki-laki SMKN 2 Malang (p <0,001, r= -0,522). Hasil menunjukkan semakin tinggi kemampuan literasi informasi bahaya merokok semakin rendah perilaku merokok siswa. Semakin tinggi kemampuan literasi informasi bahaya merokok siswa maka semakin rendah sikap dan perilaku merokok siswa. Organisasi setempat dapat membangun program penghentian perilaku merokok pada remaja melalui tindakan preventif dan pendidikan kesehatan.
English Abstract
Evaluating literacy information skills of the dangers of smoking is carried out to guide decision making in developing efforts to overcome smoking behavior problems in adolescents. The purpose of the study was to identify the relationship of smoking hazard information literacy with smoking attitudes and behavior in students of SMKN 2 Malang. The study design used cross sectional analysis with purposive sampling with a sample of 127 male students of SMKN 2 Malang. Data obtained using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. The results of this study showed that the smoking hazard information was high as much as 62%, the smoking attitude of students was low as much as 58%, and the smoking behavior of students was low at 51%. The results of the correlation test found that there was a significant relationship between literacy information on the dangers of smoking and smoking attitudes of male students of SMKN 2 Malang (p <0.001, α = 0.05, r = -0.6688). The results showed that the higher the hazard hazard information literacy ability the lower the smoking attitude of students. In addition, there is a significant relationship in the correlation test of smoking information literacy with the smoking behavior of male students of SMK 2 Malang (p <0.001, α = 0.05, r = -0.522). The results showed the higher literacy hazard information ability of smoking the lower the smoking behavior of students. The higher the literacy hazard information literacy ability of students, the lower the attitude and smoking behavior of students. Local organizations can build a program to stop smoking behavior in adolescents through preventive measures and health education.
