Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh persaingan bisnis di era globalisasi yang menuntut perusahaan agar tetap unggul dengan melibatkan pengoleloaan strategi secara tepat sasaran. Perusahaan harus mampu memiliki keunggulan kompetitif dilihat dari aspek internal yakni aspek pengelolaan strategi perusahaan. Aspek strategi dapat tercapai secara baik dengan dengan mempertimbangkan faktor kepemimpinan, etika serta budaya dalam organisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji dan menjelaskan secara empiris mengenai 1) pengaruh gaya kepimipinan terhadap kinerja organisasi 2) pengaruh etika terhadap kinerja organisasi 3) pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja organisasi melalui budaya organisasi dan 4) pengaruh etika terhadap kinerja organisasi melalui budaya organisasi. Sampel diambil menggunakan metode sampel proporsi. Responden yang dipilih adalah karyawan PT Widatra Bhakti yang sebagian besar telah bekerja lebih dari 2 tahun. Dalam hal ini peneliti mengambil. sampel sebanyak 174 responden. Hipotesis penelitian diuji menggunakan teknik analisis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dan etika tidak memberikan pengaruh secara langsung terhadap kinerja organisasi. Budaya organisasi memiliki peran dalam memediasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan etika terhadap kinerja organisasi. Dengan demikian peran budaya organisasi memiliki peran yang penting dalam menghasilkan kinerja pada organisasi.
English Abstract
This study is based on business competition in the globalization era which requires the company to stay ahead by involving the proper strategies of management. Companies must be able to have a competitive advantage viewed from the internal aspects of company strategy. Aspects of company strategy can be achieved well by considering the factors of leadership, ethics and culture within the organization. The purpose of this study is to test and explain empirically about 1) the influence of the leadership style on the performance of the organization 2) the influence of ethics on organizational performance 3) the influence of leadership style on organizational performance through organizational culture and 4) the influence of ethics on organizational performance through organizational culture. The sample is taken using the sample proportional method. The selected respondents are employees of PT Widatra Bhakti who have been working mostly for more than 2 years. In this case researchers took sample of 174 respondents. The research hypothesis was tested using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that leadership style and ethics do not give a direct influence on organizational performance. Organizational culture has a role in mediating the influence of leadership and ethical styles on organizational performance. Thus the role of organizational culture has an important role in producing performance in the organization.
