Abstract
Kanker Payudara merupakan jenis kanker penyebab kematian wanita pertama didunia. Salah satu terapi yang umumnya dijalani pasien kanker payudara ialah kemoterapi yang bertujuan untuk membunuh sel kanker. Dalam hal ini pemberian kemoterapi berdampak pada perubahan nilai limfosit yang juga digunakan sebagai indikator sistem imun pasien kanker. Arginin merupakan salah satu jenis immunonutrient yang mampu meningkatkan respon imun pada pasien kanker, dengan menghambat pertumbuhan sel kanker melalui proliferasi sel limfosit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan arginin terhadap kadar limfosit pada pasien kanker payudara yang mendapatkan kemoterapi. Penelitian dilakukan secara observasional analitik melalui pendekatan cross sectional, dengan total responden sebanyak 52 orang yang menggunakan metode total sampling. Asupan arginin diukur menggunakan kuisioner SQ-FFQ, sedangkan kadar limfosit diperoleh melalui hasil uji labolatorium yang dilakukan di rumah sakit dimana tercatat pada rekam medis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata asupan arginin responden sebesar 6,23 gram ± 3,25 gram yang tergolong rendah dan rata-rata kadar limfosit responden sebesar 22,94% ± 7,60% yang tergolong normal. Berdasarkan hasil uji hubungan pearson, diperoleh hasil tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan arginin terhadap kadar limfosit pada pasien kanker payudara yang mendapatkan kemoterapi p=0,712, p>0,05. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini ialah tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan arginin terhadap kadar limfosit pada pasien kanker payudara yang mendapatkan kemoterapi di RSUD. Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang.
English Abstract
Breast Cancer is a type of cancer first leading causes death in woman. Chemotherapy is one of the therapies that breast cancer patients use to kill cancer cells. In this case chemotherapy has an impact in the lymphocytes count which are used as immune system indicators. Arginine is one type of immunonutrient that can increase immune system in cancer patiens, by inhibited cancer cell growth through lymphocyte cell proliferation. The objective of this study was to determine relation between arginine intake with lymphocytes count in chemotherapy breast cancer patient. The design of this study was observational analytic-cross sectional. This study was using a total sampling technique in 52 respondents. Arginine intake was measured using SQFFQ questionnaire and the lymphocytes count from patient medical record.The results showed that the average arginine intake of respondents was 6.23 grams which classified as low and the average lymphocyte level of respondents was 22.94% which classified as normal. The result showed that there weren’t significant relation of arginine intake with lymphocytes count in chemoterapy breast caner patient p=0,712, p>0,05.
