Abstract
Full day school ialah sekolah yang pembelajarannya dimulai jam 06.45 hingga 15.30 selama 5 hari dalam satu minggu. Sedangkan sekolah reguler adalah sekolah umum yang tidak memuat program tambahan khusus di dalamnya dan berlangsung dari pukul 07.00-12.30 selama 6 hari. Beban pelajaran dan tugas yang terlalu banyak dalam waktu lama dapat memicu timbulnya stres akademik pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan stres akademik siswa full day school dan reguler di SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Malang dan SMP NU Hasyim Asyari Kota Malang. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan ialah cross sectional pada 180 siswa kelas VII-IX SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Malang dan SMP NU Hasyim Asyari Kota malang. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah Academic stress inventory. Hasil analisis uji Mann Whitney terhadap sistem pembelajaran dan stres akademik menunjukkan nilai p value < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara stres akademik siswa full day school dan reguler.
English Abstract
Full day school is a school where learning begins at 6:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for 5 days a week. While regular school is a public school that does not contain special additional programs in it and runs from 07.00-12.30 for 6 days. The burden of learning and assignments that are too long for a long time can lead to the emergence of academic stress in students. This study aims to analyze the differences in academic stress in full day school and regular students at SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Malang and SMP NU Hasyim Asyari Kota Malang. The research design used was cross sectional for 180 students of class VII-IX of SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Malang dan SMP NU Hasyim Asyari Kota Malang. The instrument used is Academic stress inventory. The results of the Mann Whitney test analysis of the learning system and academic stress showed p value <0.05, which means that there were significant differences between the academic stress of full day school and regular students.
