Abstract
Pasien gagal jantung diketahui cenderung memiliki kualitas hidup yang buruk. Aktivitas fisik merupakan salah satu manajemen non-farmakologi yang direkomendasikan kepada pasien gagal jantung untuk mendapatkan prognosis yang lebih baik. Namun, kepatuhan pasien gagal jantung terhadap aktivitas fisik tergolong rendah. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi aktivitas fisik, salah satunya motivasi. Motivasi merupakan sikap yang mendasari atau menggerakkan seseorang untuk bertindak. Oleh karena itu, motivasi merupakan faktor penting yang dapat mempengaruhi aktivitas fisik seseorang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan motivasi dengan aktivitas fisik pasien gagal jantung di RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar dan RSI Aisyiyah Kota Malang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 83 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data mengenai motivasi dan aktivitas fisik diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner Exercise Motivation Index dan International Physical Activity Questionnaire Long Version. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi yang dominan pada responden adalah motivasi psikologis (mean 14,16). Jenis aktivitas fisik yang dapat dilakukan oleh sebagian besar responden adalah aktivitas fisik intensitas sedang (62,7%). Uji statistik korelasi Spearman rank didapatkan p-value dengan nilai 0,000 bermakna bahwa terdapat hubungan antara motivasi dengan aktivitas fisik. Hasil korelasi koefisien adalah 0,652 menunjukkan bahwa nilai hubungan kuat dan searah, artinya jika motivasi tinggi maka aktivitas fisik juga tinggi. Kesimpulan: motivasi yang tinggi dapat meningkatkan aktivitas fisik pasien gagal jantung.
English Abstract
Patient with heart failure are known to tend have a poor quality of life. Physical activity is one of non-pharmacological management which recommended for heart failure patient to get a better prognosis. However, patient adherence to physical activity is low. There are several factors that influence physical activity, one of them is motivation. Motivation is an attitude that influence someone to act. Therefore, motivation is an important factor to influence individuals physical activity. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between motivation and physical activity of heart failure patients at RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar and RSI Aisyiyah Malang City. The research design used in this study was observational analytic with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study amounted to 83 people. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. Data on motivation and physical activity were obtained using Exercise Motivation Index questionnaire and International Physical Activity Questionnaire Long Version. The results showed that psychological motivation was dominant on respondents (mean 14.16). Most of the respondents in this study were able to do moderate intensity physical activity (62.7%). Spearman rank test was used in this studi, correlation statistic obtained p-value with a value of 0,000 which mean that there is a relationship between motivation and physical activity. The results of the correlation coefficient is 0,652 indicating that the value of relationship is strong and unidirectional, that’s mean that if the motivation is high so the physical activity is also high. Conclusion: high motivation can increase physical activity of heart failure patients.
