Abstract
Novel Kalatidha merupakan Novel Karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma yang merekam peristiwa pasca-1965 serta hegemoni negara Orde Baru. Hegemoni merupakan kepimpinan secara intelektual moral. Tokoh aku mengalami peristiwa-peristiwa mengerikan selama pencidukan, cerita tentang pembunuhan massal, dan cerita keluarga para tapol. Penelitian ini mencoba menjawab rumusan masalah; Instrumen-isntrumen apa saja yang digunakan/dipakai oleh rezim Orde Baru untuk melegitimasi kekuasaan yang terdapat dalam Novel Kalatidha karya Seno Gumira Adjidarma? Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan istrumen yang digunakan oleh Orde Baru untuk menghegemoni. Penelitian deskriptif secara tekstual digunakan karena penelitian ini menganalisis novel Kalatidha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Orde baru menggunakan beberapa ―suprastruktur ideologis‖ sebagai instrumen untuk melangsungkan hegemoninya. Instrumen-instrumen tersebut antara lain, bahasa, hukum, moral, dan simbol. Hegemoni dalam bahasa meliputi adanya (1) Penggunaan eufimisme, (2) Penghapusan ingatan melalui Ejaan, (3) Wacana Anti-Komunisme. Hegemoni dalam hukum dengan adanya (1) KOPKAMTIB, (2) UU 5/1969, (3) Tap MPRS XXV tahun 1966, (4) SUPERSEMAR. Hegemoni moral meliputi (1) Moral Perorangan, (2) Moral Keluarga, (3) Moral Masyarakat. Hegemoni melalui simbol meliputi (1) Semua hal yang berkaitan dengan PKI dianggap haram, (2) Pengkultusan, (3) Legitimasi melalui Monumen, (4) Legitimasi melalui sekolah.
English Abstract
Novel Kalatidha is a novel written by Seno Gumira Ajidarma that is telling about the event after-1965 and also the hegemony of the Indonesian country in Soeharto era (orde baru). Hegemony is the leading action by the way of controlling moral intellectual. The aku character live during the events of abduction, mass murder, and the stories from the family of tapol. This research tried to answer a problem; What instruments that were used by the government of Orde Baru to legitimate their reign, found in Novel Kalatidha written by Seno Gumira Ajidarma? This research used descriptive qualitative approach to describe the instruments that were used by the government of Orde Baru to do the hegemony. Descriptive research is textually used in this research since the author did the analysis to Kalathida novel. The result of this study showed that the government of Orde Baru used some few 'ideology suprastructures' as the instrument to do their hegemony. Those are, language, law, moral, and symbol. Hegemony in language are (1) the using of eufimisme, (2) Removing memories from orthography, (3) Anti-Communism concept, Hegemony in law (1) KOBKAMTIB, (2) UU 5/1969 (3) Tap MPR XXV 1996, (4) SUPERSEMAR. Hegemony in moral are (1) individual moral, (2) family moral (3) Mass moral. Hegemony in symbols are (1) anything interelated with PKI would be called haram (2) cult, (3) legitimation through monument, (4) legitimation through schools.
