Abstract
Air Susu Ibu (ASI) merupakan makanan terbaik bagi bayi saat usia 6 bulan pertama. Manfaat ASI eksklusif bagi bayi yaitu menurunkan resiko kematian, menurunkan resiko penyakit akut, menurunkan resiko penyakit kronis dan kecerdasan bertambah. Target pemberian ASI eksklusif yang tercapai di Indonesia masih rendah yaitu sebesar 55,7%. Kelas ibu menyusui menjadi salah satu sarana bagi ibu hamil untuk menambah pengetahuan dan motivasi dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif. Kelas ibu menyusui merupakan sarana belajar bersama tentang menyusui dan ASI eksklusif dalam bentuk tatap muka dalam kelompok minimal diikuti oleh 10 orang. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan pengetahuan dan motivasi ibu dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif sebelum dan sesudah diberi kelas ibu menyusui. Rancangan penelitian adalah Pre Eksperiment Design dengan pendekatan One Group Pre-Post Test Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah ibu hamil sebanyak 65 orang dan dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Mei 2019. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner pengetahuan dan motivasi. Analisis menggunakan uji Chi Square dan Fisher Exact dengan aplikasi SPSS 16 for windows. Hasil uji Chi Square pengetahuan menunjukkan p value 0,000<0,05 sehingga terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan ibu sebelum dan sesudah diberi kelas ibu menyusui. Hasil uji Fisher Exact motivasi menunjukkan p value 0,007<0,05 sehingga terdapat perbedaan motivasi ibu dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif sebelum dan sesudah diberi kelas ibu menyusui. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan pengetahuan dan motivasi ibu dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif sebelum dan sesudah diberi kelas ibu menyusui
English Abstract
Breastmilk is the best food for babies at the first 6 months. The benefits of exclusive breastfeeding for babies is reduce the risk of death, reduce the risk of acute illness, reduce the risk of chronic disease and increase the intelligence. The target of exclusive breastfeeding achieved in Indonesia is still low at 55.7%. Breastfeeding Class is one means for pregnant women to increase their knowledge and motivation exclusive breastfeeding. Breastfeeding Class is a means of learning together about breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding in the form of face to face in groups of at least 10 people. This study aims to determine difference in knowledge and motivation of mothers exclusive breastfeeding before and after being given a breastfeeding class. The research design is Pre Experiment Design with One Group Pre-Post Test Design approach. The sampling technique use purposive sampling. The research start from April to May 2019 and the sample was 65 pregnant womens. The research instrument using a knowledge and motivation questionnaire. Analysis using Chi Square test and Fisher Exact test with SPSS 16 for Windows applications. Chi Square test results of knowledge showed p value 0,000 <0,05 from the result there is the difference in maternal knowledge before and after being given a breastfeeding class. Fisher Exact test motivation test results showed p value 0.007 <0.05 from the result there is the difference in the motivation of mothers in exclusive breastfeeding before and after being given a breastfeeding class. Conclusion of this study is the difference in knowledge and motivation of mothers in exclusive breastfeeding before and after being given a breastfeeding class.
