Abstract
Anemia dalam kehamilan adalah kondisi ibu dengan kadar hemoglobin <11 gr/dl pada trimester I dan III atau kadar <10,5 gr/dl pada trimester II. Salah satu faktor yang dapat menyebabkan anemia yaitu asap rokok karena dapat menyebabkan terjadinya hemolisis sel darah merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui efek pemberian ekstrak brokoli terhadap hemoglobin pada tikus bunting. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian eksperimental murni dengan rancangan penelitian Randomized Post Test Only Control Group Design menggunakan tikus putih betina bunting Rattus norvegicus strain wistar. Sampel dipilih secara random dan dibagi dalam 5 kelompok yaitu K(-), K(+), P1, P2, dan P3. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya perbedaan rerata kadar hemoglobin pada setiap kelompok perlakuan. Pada uji One-Way Anova didapatkan hasil sig=0,040 (sig <0,05). Pada analisis multiple comparisons Tukey HSD didapatkan hasil bahwa pada kelompok P2 dan P3 didapatkan nilai sig=0,037 (sig <0,05) sehingga dinyatakan bahwa hanya adanya perbedaan terhadap ratarata kadar hemoglobin pada P2 dan perlakuan P3. uji korelasi Pearson menunjukan bahwa nilai r=0,476 artinya terdapat hubungan antara kedua variabel. Pada penelitian ini disimpulkan adanya pengaruh pemberian ekstrak etanol brokoli dengan kadar hemoglobin, peningkatan kadar hemoglobin disebabkan karena adanya flavonoid dan vitamin C yang cukup tinggi pada kandungan brokoli dan berfungsi sebagai antioksidan.
English Abstract
Anemia in pregnancy is the condition of the mother with hemoglobin level <11 gr/dL in the 1st and 3rd trimester or <10,5 gr/dL at the 2nd trimester. One of the factors that can cause anemia is a smoke, because it can make haemolysis red blood cells. This study aims to determine the effect of extract broccoli to the levels of hemoglobin in the pregnant rat. This research was an purely experimental study with the Randomized Post Test Only Control Group Design using pregnant white rat (Rattus norvegicus wistar strain). The sample was randomly selected and divided into 5 groups as K (-), K (+), P1, P2, and P3. The results showed significant difference in average hemoglobin. In the One-Way Anova test the results is sig=0.040 (sig <0.05). In the Tukey HSD multiple comparisons analysis, the ressult is in the P2 and P3 groups is sig=0.037 (sig <0.05) it can be concluded that there was only a difference in the hemoglobin level in P2 and P3 group. Pearson correlation test shows that the value of r = 0.476 means that there is a relationship between the two variables. The conclusion of this study is that there is a related effect of giving broccoli extract with hemoglobin levels, increase hemoglobin levels is caused by the flavonoids and vitamin C which are quite high in the broccoli and function as antioxidants.
