Abstract
Pada wanita hamil asam urat dalam plasma mengalami peningkatan. Pada trimester kedua asam urat akan mengalami peningkatan karena adanya peningkatan reabsorbsi dan penurunan ekskresi ginjal. Penurunan aliran darah ke ginjal menurun dapat terjadi karena perubahan fungsi ginjal, sehingga filtrasi glomerulus menurun dan klirens asam urat menurun sehingga menyebabkan asam urat meningkat yang merupakan salah satu biomarker preeklampsi. Salah satu cara untuk menekan jumlah kadar asam urat adalah dengan menghambat enzim Xanthin Oksidase dengan antioksidan. Paprika merah, memiliki kandungan kaya antioksidan diantaranya adalah Vitamin C dengan kandungan setiap 100 g mengandung 190mg Vitamin C. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuktikan bahwa pemberian jus paprika merah dapat mempengaruhi kadar asam urat dalam darah pada tikus putih (Rattus Novergicus) bunting. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen murni dengan rancangan Pretest-posttest with Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah tikus putih (Rattus Novergicus) bunting dengan jumlah 24 ekor dengan usia ± 2-3 Bulan yang dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok perlakuan yaitu Kelompok Kontrol P0 (kontrol, tidak diberi perlakuan jus paprika merah), kelompok P1 (diberi jus paprika merah 0,95 gr/200gr BB/hari), kelompok P2 (diberi jus paprika merah 1,9 gr/200gr BB/hari) , kelompok P3 (diberi jus paprika merah 3,8 gr/200gr BB/hari). Hasil penelitian diUji One-Way ANOVA (p=0,001) didapatkan hasil kadar asam urat pada kelompok kontrol mengalami peningkatan, dan kelompok dengan perlakuan pemberian Jus paprika merah menurun. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini jus paprika merah menurunkan kadar asam urat pada tikus putih (Rattus Novergicus) bunting dengan dosis efektif dengan dosis 1,9 gr/200gr BB/hari dan 3,8 gr/200gr BB/hari.
English Abstract
Increasing uric acid levels in plasma can occur during pregnancy. In the third-semester, uric acid levels is elevated due to the increment of reabsorption and decrement of excretion in kidney. Decreasing blood flow into the kidneys could happen due to changes in kidney’s function, so that the glomerular filtration and uric acid clearance decreases, causing uric acid to increase which is one of the preeclamptic biomarkers. A method to reduce the amount of uric acid is to lower Xanthin Oxidase enzyme using antioxidants. Antioxidants can be obtained from red bell peppers. Red paprika are rich with antioxidants, including vitamin C, which every 100g of red paprika contains the amount of 190mg in vitamin C. The purpose of this study is to prove that red paprika have impacts on the uric acid levels in blood of white pregnant rats (Ratus Novergicus). This study is used pure experimental design with a pretest-posttest design with Control Group Design. The sample used in this study are pregnant white rats (Rattus Novergicus) with a total of 24 rats aged 2-3 months divided into 4 treatment groups which are, Control Group P0 (control, not treated with red paprika juice), group P1 (treated with red paprika juice 0.95 gr / 200gr BB / day, P2 group (treated with red paprika juice 1.9 gr / 200gr BB / day), group P3 (treated with red paprika juice 3.8 gr / 200gr BB / day). This study result was examined using One -Way ANOVA (p = 0.001) showed that uric acid levels in the control group had increased, , and the group treated with red pepper juice decreased. the conclusion of this study is that red paprika juice is proved to lowers uric acid levels in pregnant white rats (Rattus Novergicus) at an effective dose of 1.9 gr / 200gr BB / day and 3.8 gr / 200gr BB / day .
