Abstract
Penelitian ini berisi tentang bagaimana peran, keberadaan dan masa depan ritual bersih dusun di kehidupan masyarakat Gasek saat ini. Penelitian ini juga meneliti faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi sikap masyarakat Gasek terhadap ritual bersih dusun serta upaya untuk mempertahankan budaya lokal di kehidupan masyarakat Gasek, dengan memfokuskan penelitian pada peran untuk menerapkan upacara tradisional bersih dusun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan wawancara mendalam dengan dengan 7 orang generasi tua berusia 41 tahun keatas berdasarkan angka 1-7 dan generasi tua berusia 41 tahun keatas dan 6 orang generasi muda berusia dibawah 40 tahun sebagai obyek penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya faktor-faktor penyebab yang mempengaruhi keberadaan ritual bersih dusun; perbedaan persepsi di antara generasi tua dan generasi muda mengenai bagaimana cara mereka dapat memahami, menerima dan mempertahankan keberadaan budaya lokal. Pandangan mengenai ritual bersih dusun untuk melestarikan didominasikan oleh generasi muda sedangkan filosofis religius didominasikan oleh generasi tua. Serta penanggalan ritual bersih dusun di bulan sura tidak boleh digantikan dengan hari lain sebagai pengetahuan yang paling banyak diketahui oleh masyarakat Gasek. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian, pemecahan masalah untuk dapat terus mempertahankan ritual bersih dusun adalah dengan menyediakan sumber-sumber pengetahuan yang dapat memperjelaskan cara aturan dalam bersih dusun secara baik dan benar.
English Abstract
This research is about the role, existence and future of the village's clean rituals in the life of the current Gasek community. The study also examined the factors that could influence the attitude of the Gasek community towards hamlet clean rituals as well as efforts to preserve local culture in the lives of the Gasek people, by focusing their research on the role of implementing traditional village clean ceremonies. The research method used was qualitative descriptive and in-depth interviews with 7 older generation people aged 41 years and above based on numbers 1-7 and older generations aged 41 years and over and 6 young people aged under 40 years as the object of research. The results of this study indicate that there are causal factors that influence the existence of clean village rituals; different perceptions between the older generation and the younger generation about how they can understand, accept and maintain the existence of local culture. The view of hamlet clean rituals to preserve is dominated by the younger generation while religious philosophies are dominated by the older generation. As well as the date of the clean ritual of the hamlet in the month of Sura, it should not be replaced with another day as the knowledge most widely known by the people of Gasek. Based on the results of the research, the problem solving to be able to continue to maintain the clean rituals of the hamlet is to provide sources of knowledge that can explain the way the rules in clean hamlets are good and right.
