Abstract
Prenatal attachment adalah hubungan emosional yang erat, hangat, dan penuh kasih sayang yang terbentuk antara ibu dan janinnya. Hubungan tersebut diketahui dapat mendorong beberapa perilaku hidup sehat, seperti mengurangi konsumsi rokok, alkohol, dan obat-obatan terlarang. Salah satu perilaku hidup sehat lainnya yang sebaiknya dilakukan oleh ibu hamil adalah mengkonsumsi tablet tambah darah secara teratur untuk mencegah anemia defisiensi besi. Di Indonesia, hanya 38,1% ibu hamil yang benar-benar mengkonsumsi tablet tambah darah sesuai anjuran Kementrian Kesehatan RI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara prenatal attachment dengan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet tambah darah. Penelitian ini melibatkan 54 ibu hamil trimester III dengan desain cross sectional. Prenatal attachment diukur menggunakan Indonesian Version of Prenatal Attachment Inventory (IPAI), kepatuhan didapat dari menghitung jumlah hari ibu hamil mengkonsumsi tablet per minggu dalam 30 hari terakhir. Sebanyak 68,5% ibu memiliki prenatal attachment yang tinggi, dan 59,3% ibu memiliki kepatuhan yang tinggi. Analisis bivariat dengan uji statistik Chi Square menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,002 (p < 0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara prenatal attachment dengan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet tambah darah. Dengan demikian, hubungan unik antara ibu dan janin dapat dimanfaatkan dalam praktik antenatal care.
English Abstract
Prenatal attachment is a close, warm, and affectionate emotional relationship between a mother and fetus. The attachment has known to be able to promote some healthy lifestyles for pregnant women include reducing the consumption of cigarettes, alcohol, and illicit drugs. Other healthy lifestyle that should be done by pregnant women is consuming iron-folate supplement regularly to avoid iron deficiency anemia. In Indonesia, only 38.1% of pregnant women who consumed iron-folate supplement according to the recommendation of Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia. This study aimed to determine the relationship between prenatal attachment and the compliance of iron-folate supplement among pregnant women in primary health care of Kedungkandang. This cross sectional study involved 54 pregnant women in the third trimester. Prenatal attachment was measured by Indonesian Version of Prenatal Attachment Inventory (IPAI), while the compliance was assessed based on the reported number of IFA tablets taken in the 30 days before the study. As many as 68.5% mothers had high prenatal attachment, and 59.3% of mothers had high compliance. Bivariate analysis using Chi Square showed p value 0.002. It means that prenatal attachment was related to the compliance of iron-folate supplement among pregnant women significantly. Thus, that unique relationship between mother and fetus can be utilized in the practice of antenatal care
