Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis implementasi sistem E-Katalog PT Paloma Shopway, khususnya di Department Store Wilayah Kalimantan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami dan menjelaskan: (1) Implementasi sistem E-Catalogue di Multi-Level Marketing (2) Keberhasilan implementasi sistem E Catalogue, 3) Implementasi sistem E-Catalogue sebagai peningkatan kualitas sistem. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dari lingkungan penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 informan. Validitas penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi data. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan Model Analisis Data Spiral Creswell. Hasil penelitian ini dalam implementasi sistem E-Catalogue di PT Paloma Shopway Department Store arca Kalimantan tidak sesuai dengan teori implementasi sistem menurut para ahli. Implementasi sistem E-Catalogue di PT Paloma Shopway Department Store perlu ditingkatkan kualitas sistem khususnya di kawasan Department store Kalimantan, tidak melakukan persiapan pengguna, tidak melakukan survei kepuasan pengguna terkait implementasi sistem E-Katalog. Rekomendasi untuk PT Paloma Shopway Department Store adalah untuk melakukan persiapan pengguna dan pelatihan reguler terkait dengan sistem baru di PT Paloma Shopway agar implementasi operasional sistem dapat berjalan dan berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya, perlu dilakukan survei kepuasan pelanggan terkait sistem E-Katalog di PT Paloma Shopway dan bagi peneliti selanjutnya adalah melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut terkait keberhasilan implementasi sistem dengan penelitian kuantitatif dan melakukan penelitian di luar wilayah Kalimantan.

English Abstract

This research background is to analyze the E-Catalog systems implementation of PT Paloma Shopway, especally in the Department Store of Kalimantan Area. The purpose of this research is to understand and explain: (1) E-Catalog systems implementation in Multi-Level Marketing. (2) The success of E-Catalog systems implementation, (3) E-Catalog systems implementation as an improvement of the system quality. The research method of this research is descriptive research with a qualitative method. Data collection technique using an observation, interview and documentation. Informant of this research consist of 5 informants. Validity of this research using data triangulation. Analysis of this research using Creswell Spiral Data Analysis Model. The results of this research in the implementation of the E-Catalog system at PT Paloma Shopway Department Store Kalimantan area did not in accordance with the theory of system implementation according to experts. E-Catalog system implementation at PT Paloma Shopway Department Store needs to be improved the system quality especially in the Department store of Kalimantan area, did not conduct user preparation, did not conduct user satisfaction surveys related to E-Catalog system implementation. The successful implementation of the E-Catalog system at PT Paloma Shopway did not run as it should be compared to other areas outside of Kalimantan. Recommendation for PT Paloma Shopway Department Store is to conducting user preparation and regular training related to the new system at PT Paloma Shopway for the operational implementation of a system can run and function as supposed to. Related to the successful implementation of E-Catalog system it is need to conduct a customer satisfaction survey related to the E-Catalog system at PT Paloma Shopway. The recommendation for further researcher is to conduct further research related to the successful implementation of the system with a quantitative research and conduct a research outside of the Kalimantan area.
