Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh motivasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research, penelitian ini menggunakan 60 responden. Penentuan besar sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, sampel diambil dari karyawan tetap PT. Jasa Marga Pandaan Tol. Metode analisis data dalam pengujian instrumen penelitian menggunakan alat bantu SmartPLS versi 2.0 melalui tahapan analisa outer model, inner model, dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi karyawan, (2) kepemimpinan transaksional berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi karyawan, (3) kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, (4) kepemimpinan transaksional berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, (5) motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, (6) gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi, (7) gaya kepemimpinan transaksional berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi.

English Abstract

This research aims to know how the influence of the leadership style on employee performance mediated by motivation. The type of research used is explanatory research. This study is using 60 respondent. Determination of the samples using saturation sampling technique taken from permanent employee of PT. Jasa Marga Pandaan Tol. The method of data analysis in testing instruments using the SmartPLS version 2.0 model through the stages of outer model analysis, inner models, and hypotesis testing. The result showed that: (1) transformational leadership has a positive effect on employee motivation, (2) transactional leadership has a positive effect on employee motivation, (3) transformational leadership has a positive effect on employee performance, (4) transactional leadership has a positive effect on employee performance, (5) motivation has a positive effect on employee performance, (6) transformational leadership has a positive effect on employee performance mediated by motivation, (7) transactional leadership has a positive effect on employee performance mediated by motivation.
