Abstract

Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan adalah sebuah area pinggir sungai yang didominasi oleh pendatang, namun Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan sekarang sudah mengalami perubahan menjadi sangat produktif di bidang pariwisata tematik. Pariwisata tentu memiliki pengelola yang menjadi aktor penting dalam kemajuan pariwisata, namun di Jodipan ada gesekan antara etnis Jawa dengan etnis Madura yang mendominasi dalam pengelolaan Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan. Hal ini membuat peneliti merasa tertarik untuk menjelaskan masalah etnis yang terjadi pada masyarakat Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan. Peneliti juga akan mendeskripsikan tentang pengelolaan wisata Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan karena di duga masalah muncul karena keberhasilan pariwisata. Penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif ini berupaya untuk menjawab rumusan masalah (1) Bagaimana pengelolaan wisata masyarakat di Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan. (2) Bagaimana gesekan antar etnis yang terjadi pada masyarakat Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan. Hasil dari penelitian Penulis menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan wisata masyarakat di Kampung Warna-warni jodipan terdapat permasalahan diantaranya sebagian organisasi belum menyatu. Selanjutnya gesekan antara etnis Jawa dengan Madura terjadi karena perebutan sumberdaya baik itu pengelolaan pariwisata, pengelolaan parkir, pengelolaan tiket, lokasi strategis untuk berdagang didominasi oleh etnis Madura dikarenakan pengaruh elit pariwisata yang memiliki etnis Madura. Sehingga elit pariwisata memonopoli manfaat pariwisata sesuai keinginanya.

English Abstract

Jodipan Colorful Village is a river edge area dominated by migrants, but the Jodipan Colorful Village has now undergone a change to be very productive in the field of thematic tourism. Tourism certainly has managers who are important actors in the progress of tourism, but in Jodipan there is friction between Javanese and Madurese ethnic groups who dominate the management of the Jodipan Colorful Village. This makes researchers feel interested in explaining the ethnic problems that occur in Jodipan Colorful Village communities. The researcher will also describe the management of Jodipan Colorful Village tourism because it is suspected that problems arise because of the success of tourism. Descriptive research with this qualitative approach seeks to answer the problem formulation (1) How to manage community tourism in Jodipan Colorful Village. (2) How inter-ethnic friction occurs in Jodipan Colorful Village communities. Results from research The author shows that tourism management in Kampung The colors of jodipan have problems including some of the organizations have not been united. Furthermore, the friction between Javanese and Madurese occurred due to the seizure of resources, namely tourism management, parking management, ticket management, and the strategic location to trade was dominated by ethnic Madurese due to the influence of the tourism elite who had ethnic Madurese. So that the tourism elite monopolizes tourism benefits according to their desires.
