Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-esteem dengan perilaku forgiveness. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah wanita berusia 20-40 tahun yang berstatus sebagai istri, dan pernah mengalami kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 31 subjek. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga instrumen penelitian, yaitu Self-esteem Scale oleh Rosenberg yang telah diadaptasi oleh Azwar untuk variabel self-esteem variabel forgiveness menggunakan skala Transgression Related Interpersonal Motivations-12 Item Version (TRIM-12) merupakan skala yang dikembangkan oleh Michael McCullough yang telah diadaptasi oleh Nurmala dan Herani, dan skala kekerasan pendukung untuk mengidentifikasi subjek yaitu WHO Domestic Violence Scale. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Pearson Product Moment untuk menguji korelasi antara kedua variabel. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu, nilai korelasi sebesar 0,176 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,334 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self-esteem dengan forgiveness pada wanita korban KDRT.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and forgiveness in woman victims of domestic violence. This study uses women aged 20-40 years who were wives, and those who had experienced domestic violence. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a total sample of 31 subjects. The method used in this study is a quantitative correlational type. In this study using three research instruments, for self-esteem variables using Self-Esteem Scale by Rosenberg which has been adapted by Azwar, forgiveness variables using the scale of Trangression Related Interpersonal Motivation-12 Item Version (TRIM-12) is a scale developed by Michael McCullough which has been adapted by Nurmala and Herani , and a supportive scale of support for research subjects entitled WHO Domestic Violence Scale. Data analysis uses Pearson Product Moment to test the correlation between the two variables that is examined. The results of this study are, the correlation value of 0.176 with a significance of 0.334 so that it can be accounted for which is not significant related to self-esteem with forgiveness in women victims of domestic violence.
