Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh industrialisasi, pertumbuhan penduduk, pendapatan dan pendidikan terhadap proses urbanisasi di Jawa Barat. Analisis yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik regresi linear berganda atas data panel (pooled data) dengan model Fixed Effect. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel industrialisasi dan pertumbuhan penduduk berpengaruh positif signifikan secara statistik terhadap proses urbanisasi. Sedangkan variabel pertumbuhan penduduk dan pendidikan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap proses urbanisasi. Seiring dengan meningkatnya pembangunan jumlah industri besar dan sedang di kawasan Kabupaten di Jawa Barat sehingga menyebabkan nilai yang tidak terlalu besar pada tingkat urbanisasi.
English Abstract
The research aims to analyze the impact of industrialization, population growth, income and education of the urbanisation process in West Java. The method of the analysis that has been used is a quantitative method with double linear regression techniques over the data panels (pooled data) with Fixed Effect models. The results of this research show that industrialization and population growth variable are significant towards urbanisation process. While population and education growth are not significant towards urbanisation process. Along with the increase number of development in large and medium scale industries in district of West Java, hence causing the small value on the urbanization level.
