Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas terkait bentuk gerakan dari Omah Munir dalam mengedukasi terkait hak asasi manusia (HAM). Bermula pada penegakkan HAM dan kasus Munir di Indonesia yang hingga saat ini belum tuntas. Omah Munir hadir sebagai bentuk gerakan yang lebih sistematis melalui edukasi HAM. Edukasi yang dilakukan adalah bentuk melawan lupa terkait kasus penyelewengan HAM dan bentuk pengajaran nilai-nilai HAM yang ditujukan pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama (SMP), sekolah menengah atas (SMA), dan mahasiswa. Teori yang digunakan ialah gerakan sosial baru dan mobilisasi sumberdaya dalam menganalisis kasus Omah Munir pada saat menjalankan gerakan edukasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penentuan informan penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam metode penelitian kualitatif, di antaranya observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data penelitian ini melalui teknik triangulasi dengan sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bentuk gerakan sosial baru Omah Munir dalam melakukan gerakan atau kegiatannya lebih pada ide tentang HAM. Gerakan yang dilakukan berbentuk edukasi terkait HAM. Melalui kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukannya seperti mengadakan kajian di beberapa kota dan di Kota Malang melalui film, lalu membuat modul HAM sebagai bentuk gerakan yang memobilisasi sumberdaya melalui media pengajaran melalui modul HAM untuk SMP dan SMA. Sebagai gerakan, kegiatan Omah Munir didukung oleh beberapa komponen seperti pemerintah, komunitas, pendonor terkait pendanaan, dan sukarelawan serta media massa terkait jaringan yang dimiliki untuk memperluas informasi tentang edukasi HAM.
English Abstract
This research discusses about social movement from Omah Munir in educating human rights. Starting from the enforcement of human rights and the Munir case in Indonesia, which until now has not been completed. Munir's Omah was present as a more systematic form of social movement through human rights education. Education carried out is a form of counteracting the cases of misuse of human rights and the form of teaching human rights values aimed at junior high school (JHS), senior high school (SHS) and college student. The theory used was a new social movement and resource mobilization in analyzing Munir's Omah case while running the educational movement. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Determination of informants of this study using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in qualitative research methods, including observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of this research data is through triangulation techniques with sources. The results of this study indicate the form of Omah Munir's new social movement in carrying out movements or activities more on the idea of human rights. Movement carried out in the form of education related to human rights. Through the activities he did such as conducting studies in several cities and in the city of Malang through films, then making the human rights module as a form of movement that mobilized resources by teaching media through human rights modules for junior and senior high schools. As a movement, the activities of Omah Munir were supported by several components such as the government, the community, funding-related donors, and volunteers and the mass media regarding the networks they had to expand information on human rights education.
