Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan personal values yang terdiri dari openess to change, self-enhancement, conservation, dan self-trancendence dengan self-objectification. Subjek pada penelitian merupakan mahasiswa perempuan berusia 18-25 tahun dan memperoleh patisipan sebesar 172 orang dengan teknik accidental sampling. Instrumen dalam skala ini ada dua, yakni Potrait Value Questionnaire (PVQ) dan skala Self-Obejectification. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah pearson product-moment dan regresi pada R-Studio i386 3.4.1. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi antara personal values dengan self-objectification. (r=0.248) p<(0.05).
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the personal values relationship that consist with openess to change, self-enhancement, conservation, and self-trancendence with self-objectification. Subject in the study were female students aged 18-25 years old and obtained participant as 172 people with accidental sampling techniques. There are two instruments on this scale, namely Potrait Value Questionnaire (PVQ) and Self-Obejectification scale. Data analysis used is pearson product-moment and regresion from R-Studio i386 3.4.1. the results of this study indicate correlation between personal values dengan self-objectification. (r=0.248) p<(0.05).
