Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self control dengan kecenderungan nomophobia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional, dan teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan partisipan sebanyak 426 mahasiswa. Partisipan diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner yang disajikan secara online. Alat ukur dalam penelitian ini adalah Brief Self Control Scale dan skala NMP-Q (The Nomophobia Questionnaire). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan korelasi product moment pearson. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self control dengan kecenderungan nomophobia pada mahasiswa. Hasil tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari nilai koefisien korelasi Pearson sebesar -0.231 dengan taraf signifikansi 0.001 (p<0.05).
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control with nomophobia tendency. This study use a correlational and purposive sampling, with participants as many as 426 students. Participants were asked to fill out the questionnaire that is presented online. Measurement tool in this study is the Brief Self-Control Scale, and the scale of the NMP-Q (The Nomophobia Questionnaire). The data obtained were analyzed using product moment pearson. The results of this research show that there is a significant negative relationship between self control and the tendency to nomophobia on the value on students. These results can be proven from the correlation coefficient of Pearson -0231 significance level 0.001 (p < 0.05).
