Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan school well-being pada siswa SMP full day school. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling sebanyak 307 siswa (teknik analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik correlations spearman’s melalui program SPSS 22.00 for windows antar kedua variabel). Penelitian ini menggunakan dua skala, yaitu : skala school well being dan skala dukungan sosial. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat korelasi hubungan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan school well-being dengan didapatkan nilai dari perhitungan correlations spearman’s pada SPSS 22.0 windows nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000<0,05, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan school well-being pada siswa SMP full day school dengan nilai koefisien menunjukkan sebesar 0.429. Keterkaitan kedua variabel dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan sosial teman sebaya maka school well-being siswa juga semakin tinggi.

English Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between peer social support and school well-being in full day junior high school students. This research used quantitative research methods with correlational research designs. This study used cluster random sampling with a sample of 307 students. The hypothesis analysis technique used correlations spearman’stechniques through the SPSS 22.00 for Windows between the two variables. This study used two scales: the scale of school well being and scale social support. The results of data analysis indicated there is a correlation between the relationship between peer social support and school well-being with the value obtained from the calculation of correlations spearman’s on SPSS 22.0 Windows significant value of 0.000<0.05, so it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between peer social support and school well-being in full day school junior high school students with a coefficient value of 0.429. The linkages between the two variables can be interpreted that the high level of peer social support will increase the school well-being of students.
