Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran antara harga diri terhadap perilaku prososial. Metode peneletian yang diguakan adalah kuantitaif jenis korelasional. Subyek dalam penelitian ini mahasiswa aktif dari luar daerah kota Malang yang bertempat tinggal di asrama kota Malang berjumlah 133 mahasiswa. Menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Harga diri diukur menggunakan skala harga diri sedangkan perilaku prososial menggunakan skala perilaku prososial. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data dengan uji normalitas (Kolmogorov Smirnov) dan uji linearitas serta uji hipotesis dengan teknik regresi sederhana dengan bantuan software R. Studio versi 3.4.1. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan p = 0.7827 (p > 0.05) menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat peran yang signifikan antara harga diri terhadap perilaku prososial di asrama mahasiswa Kota Malang.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the role of Self-Esteem and Prosocial Behavior. This study used quantitative with correlational methods. Subjects in this research were active students from outside Malang city who stayed at dormitories. The research used sample with 133 active students. The study using simple random sampling method. The level of Self-Esteem will be measured using Self-Esteem Scale and Prosocial Behavior will be measured using Prosocial Behavior Scale. This research used (Kolmogorov Smirnov) of hypothesis teste analysis andlinear test simple regression technique teste analysis used R. Studio version 3.4.1 software. The study not found self-esteem ha a role towards Prosocial Behavior level among student dormitories p = 0.7827 (p > 0.05).
