Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecemasan bertanding dengan peak performance pada atlet U-13 Kalimantan Timur dengan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala kecemasan bertanding alat ukur dari Smith dan skala peak performance yang dikembangkan oleh Potegieter dan Kidd. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet atlet sepak bola U-13 sebanyak 76 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis Correlation product moment pearson with Bootstrap analysist dari Karl pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi negatif yang signifikan. Hal ini dapat diartikan, bahwa ketika kecemasan atlet tinggi maka peak performance-nya akan semakin rendah. Begitu juga sebaliknya, ketika kecemasan pada atlet rendah, maka performa atlet akan semakin tinggi.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between competing anxiety with peak performance in U-13 East Borneo athletes with correlational quantitative methods. Data collection instruments used were anxiety scale versus measuring instruments from Smith and peak performance scale developed by Potegieter and Kidd. The subjects in this study were 76 U-13 soccer athletes. The data analysis technique used is Pearson product moment Correlation analysis with Bootstrap analyzer from Karl Pearson. The results showed that there was a significant negative correlation. This can be interpreted, that when an athlete's anxiety is high the peak performance will be lower. Vice versa, when anxiety in athletes is low, the athlete's performance will be higher.
