Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara school connectedness dengan school well-being siswa sekolah menengah pertama full day. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang melibatkan subjek yang terdiri dari siswa SMP sebanyak 158 siswa dan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampelnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua skala yaitu, skala School well-being dan Measurement of School connectedness (MOSC). Uji analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan program R version 3.5.2. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara school connectedness dengan school well-being dengan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 8,075 x 10-13 (p < 0,05) dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,524 yang bermakna bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara school connectedness dengan school wellbeing. Nilai positif pada koefisien menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi school well-being semakin tinggi juga school connectedness. Begitu juga sebaliknya semakin rendah school connectedness semakin rendah pula school well-being.

English Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between School connectedness and School well-being in primary school students (full day). This study is a quantitative research involving subjects consisting of junior high school students as much as 158 subjects and using accidental sampling technique. This research uses two research scale that is School well-being Scale and Measurement of School connectedness (MOSC). Test data analysis in this study using R program 5.3.0. The result showed that there was a correlation between school connectedness and school well-being 0,524 and significant positive correlation with the value of r 8,075 x 10-13 (p < 0,05) between variables means that the higher the level of school connectedness, the higher the level oh school well-being in the students.
