Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh globalisasi meliputi globalisasi ekonom, globalisasi sosal dan globalisasi politik terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan ketimpangan pendapatan di ASEAN. Selain itu penelitian ini juga ingin mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh faktor-faktor di teori pertumbuhan endogen (pendidikan, infrastrukur, teknologi) terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi serta apakah hipotesis kuznet berlaku di negaranegara ASEAN . Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi data panel dengan bantuan software eviews 8. Data panel merupakan gabungan antara data time series berupa urutan waktu yang digunakan yaitu tahun 2001-2015 dan data cross section yaitu berupa urutan lintang 6 negara di ASEAN (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia). Model yang paling tepat digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah fixed effect model. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel globalisasi ekonomi, globalisasi sosial, globalisasi politik berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Globalisasi ekonomi dan globalisasi sosial berpengaruh negative terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan.

English Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of globalization including economic globalization, social globalization and political globalization on economic growth and income inequality in ASEAN. In addition, this study also wants to find out how the influence of factors in endogenous growth theory (education, infrastructure, technology) on economic growth and whether the Kuznet hypothesis applies in ASEAN countries. The method used in this research is panel data regression with the help of eviews 8. Panel data is a combination of time series data in the form of time sequence used in 2001-2015 and cross section data in the form of latitude of 6 countries in ASEAN (Indonesia, Malaysia , Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia). The most appropriate model used in this study is the fixed effect model. The results of this study indicate that the variables of economic globalization, social globalization, political globalization have a positive effect on economic growth. Economic globalization and social globalization have a negative effect on income inequality.
