Abstract
Pariwisata saat ini dapat memberikan manfaat bagi negara. Akan tetapi, pariwisata belum memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat. Pariwisata agar mampu memberikan manfaat lahirlah community based tourism atau sering disebut juga dengan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat. Pariwisata dengan konsep community based tourism harus melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat lokal agar masyarakat lokal mendapatkan manfaat di sektor pariwisata. Community based tourism seperti yang terdapat di ekowisata perkebunan kopi, Desa Amadanom, Dampit, Kabupaten Malang dimana petani kopi memanfaatkan lahan perkebunan kopi untuk dijadikan ekowisata agar petani kopi mendapatkan pendapatan di sektor pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana community based tourism dalam meningkatkan ekonomi serta dinamika pelaksanaan community based tourism. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini terdapat dua rumusan masalah yang membahas tentang bagaimana peran community based tourism dalam meningkatkan ekonomi petani kopi serta dampak sosial yang terjadi di ekowisata perkebunan kopi, Desa Amadanom, Dampit, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Desa Amadanom, Dampit, Kabupaten Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan partisipant observation dan indepth interview. Tujuh orang informan yang terpilih dengan menggunakan teknik snowballing yaitu Bapak Budi, Bapak Katiran, Bu Tus, Bapak Suryono, Bapak Sulyono, Bapak Karjiadi, dan Bapak Nurul. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa konsep community based tourism belum mampu memberikan manfaat dalam meningkatkan ekonomi petani kopi. Akan tetapi, petani kopi mendapatkan SHU (sisa hasil usaha) yang dibagikan satu tahun sekali. Dampak ekonomi terjadi di ekowisata perkebunan kopi seperti membuka kesempatan dan pekerjaan dengan kegiatan ekonomi baru, tidak menghilangkan ekonomi yang sudah ada dan memberikan manfaat. Dampak sosial terjadi di ekowisata perkebunan kopi seperti para petani kopi melakukan kerja sama dalam mengelola dan mengembangkan ekowisata kerja sama tersebut yaitu prihal tenaga, pendanaan, dan musyawarah.
English Abstract
Tourism now can provide benefits to the country. However, tourism has not provided benefits to the community. Tourism in order to be able to provide benefits is born community-based tourism or often referred to as community-based tourism. Tourism with the concept of community based tourism must involve the participation of local people so that local communities get benefits in the tourism sector. Community based tourism such as that found in coffee plantation ecotourism, Amadanom Village, Dampit, Malang Regency where coffee farmers use coffee plantation land to be used as ecotourism so that coffee farmers get income in the tourism sector. This study aims to find out how community based tourism in improving the economy and the dynamics of the implementation of community based tourism. Therefore this research has two problem formulations that discuss how the role of community based tourism in improving the coffee farmers' economy and the social impact that occurs in coffee plantation ecotourism, Amadanom Village, Dampit, Malang Regency. This research took place in Amadanom Village, Dampit, Malang Regency. The method used in this study is the Ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques were conducted with participant observation and in-depth interviews. Seven informants were selected using snowballing techniques namely Mr. Budi, Mr. Katiran, Mrs. Tus, Mr. Suryono, Mr. Sulyono, Mr. Karjiadi, and Mr. Nurul. The results of this study indicate that the concept of community based tourism has not been able to provide benefits in improving the economy of coffee farmers. However, coffee farmers get the SHU (the remaining proceeds) which is distributed once a year. Economic impacts occur in coffee plantation ecotourism such as opening opportunities and jobs with new economic activities, not eliminating the existing economy and providing benefits. Social impacts occur in coffee plantation ecotourism such as coffee farmers cooperating in managing and developing ecotourism in cooperation, namely energy, funding and deliberation.
