Abstract

Pesan adalah salah satu bentuk informasi yang tercipta dari buah hasil interpretasi sebuah tindakan. Interpretasi sendiri memungkinkan untuk mengandung tujuan tertentu baik secara sengaja maupun tidak, yang dipengaruhi oleh sebuah perspektif. Informasi yang telah diinterpretasikan kemudian memungkinkan akan digunakan langsung sebagai bekal wawasan terutama oleh orang-orang yang memiliki wawasan yang kurang. Hal ini tidaklah mengapa kecuali jika informasi tersebut ternyata tidaklah murni hanya sekedar informasi melainkan mengandung sebuah ideologi tertentu yang membuat informasi tersebut menjadi lebih dari sekedar informasi dan bahkan bisa merugikan salah satu pihak terutama pada isu-isu sensitif seperti LGBT yang disajikan dalam bentuk artikel berita. Fenomena dalam artikel sendiri dapat dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori Perspektivisasi oleh Renkema melalui tiga pendekatan; visi, fokalisasi, dan empati. Sehingga, dengan alasan ini, penelitian ini muncul berupaya untuk menemukan bagaimana visi, fokalisasi, dan empati dalam perspektivisasi terlihat dalam artikel The Guardian mengenai pengusiran 12 wanita yang dianggap sebagai lesbian di Jawa Barat yang menyebabkan ketakutan pada LGBT pada September 2017. Pendekatan visi, fokalisasi, dan empati dalam teori perspektiviasi diwadahi oleh metode kualitatif. Metode ini berfokus pada detil kata atau teks yang analisanya bergantung pada aturan pendekatan dari sebuah teori guna menjelaskan sudut pandang, posisi dan keberpihakan penulis dalam melaporkan isu tersebut. Data penelitian ini diambil dari situs berita resmi berupa kata-kata atau teks. Secara keseluruhan, sebelas kata sebagai data memberikan representasi yang selaras dari awal sampai akhir paragraf, yakni representasi buruk terhadap sisi kontra isu tersebut. Hal ini terlihat dari penggunaan diksi dan penambahan isu dengan topik yang sama sebagai penguat argumen yang menggiring pada kesan buruk bagi sisi kontra. Sedangkan, untuk posisi penulis sendiri cenderung hanya sebagai pengamat dalam mendapatkan informasi. Selanjutnya, empati yang ditemukan, penulis lebih sering mengutamakan pada sisi pro isu tersebut dengan pemberitaan atau penyampaian yang jelas identitasnya tentang isu tersebut. Untuk memperkaya bidang linguistik, disarankan untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat menganalisis dan menemukan perspektif ideologi dengan menggunakan jenis obyek atau data yang berbeda seperti obyek atau data dari hard news dan menggunakan teori yang berbeda seperti Systemic-Functional Linguistics atau kombinasi dari teori Perspectivization dan Systemic-Functional Linguistics.

English Abstract

Message is one form of information created from interpretation of an action. The interpretation itself makes the information possible to contain certain goals either intentionally or not influenced by a perspective. The information that has been interpreted later allows it to be used directly as a source of knowledge, especially by people who lack knowledge. This is not the case unless the information turns out to be not purely information only but contains a certain ideology that makes the information more than information and can even harm one party especially on sensitive issues such as LGBT presented in the form of news articles. This phenomenon is presented in the form of article that can be analyzed using Perspectivization theory by Renkema through three approaches; vision, focalization and empathy. Therefore, this research appears trying to find out how vision, focalization and empathy in perspectivization are reflected in the Guardian article regarding an eviction of 12 women who are considered lesbians that caused LGBT fear, in September 2017. The approach of vision, focalization and empathy in perspectives are under qualitative method. This method focuses on word(s) or text details whose analysis depend on rules of approach of a theory to explain the author's point of view, position and partiality in reporting the issue. The research data is taken from official news sites in the form of words or text. Overall, eleven words as data provide related representation from the beginning to the end of the paragraph, namely rough representation of the counter side of the issue. This can be seen from the use of diction and additional issues with the same topic as reinforcement of arguments that lead to a rough impression on the counter side. Meanwhile, for the position of the author herself tends to only be an observer or external focalizer in getting information. Hence, the empathies found imply that the writer mostly has an impartiality on the pros side of the issue because the writer more often prioritizes and obvious in reporting or delivering regarding the issue. To enrich linguistics field, it is suggested that further researchers can analyze and find ideological perspectives by using different types of objects or data such as hard news and using different theory such as Systemic-Functional Linguistics or a combination of Perspectivization and Systemic-Functional theories Linguistics.
